Fun game! But I think jump could be better(unless you intended it to be like that :P ), also(it's a little thing) but I think it'd be nice if the level automatically restarted when the character hits spikes.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I would agree that the jump could be better and that the auto-restart makes sense :-)

Thanks for taking the time to play and review my game, I really appreciate it.

Loved the characters, making simple squares work is no easy feat :D

The physics are hilarious, but the jump feels kinda frustrating. You could consider adding some Coyote Time - that is, giving the player the ability to jump for a very short time after leaving a platform.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play and review my game, I really appreciate it :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed the characters. I would agree that I could make the jump better. I've heard of Coyote Time, so would love to implement this in future developments I create.

Thank you :-)

Nice game! Love the minimalistic style and the fact that the you can jump even when the player is facing down, hillarious! I don't know if this is your intention but the control feels bouncy and slipery. Also sometimes I cannot jump, I think it is because the player is not laying flat on the ground but this also happen while I am moving on the platform. But I really enjoy it, a cool small game with witty sense of humour. Could have add a little bit Music for the feel.

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to download and play my game!

I totally agree with the jump mechanism, I think I would like to fix this in the future. Also, I think you're right about the music, i'd love to find some that would fit the idea of the game.

Thank you so much for your review and kind words, it's made my day. :-)

Hi just finished playing your game, it was a bit difficult but I enjoyed the way that it was built, you lead the player on a journey on how to play the game, with the first level being how to jump between platforms and speak to NPC's. The second level taught the player about moving blocks and the last one taught you about spikes. On the third level, the fact that the spikes are red implies danger and that a block fell onto it and got deleted showed that they were dangerous. You don't pick up the cake, which is a shame, and the final level seems to have a few bugs but as your previous comment explains you entered an old build.

The game is humorous, it's simple but there's some real thought that's gone into the design which I appreciate. Keep making games Gregamo, I'm sure you won't make the mistake of submitting an unfinished version again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad that you liked the level progression, as that was my aim, to show you new objects within the game and how to use them to solve future puzzles.

Again, It's a shame I put the wrong build in the submission, as you could collect the cake in the last build, and the portals also had particle effects put onto them to make them more interesting.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate it. :)

Hey just finished your game and well i'm quite confused. In one hand i really liked the dialogues and the interactions with objects etc, but in the other hand it is bearly playable du to the physics system ... I'm quite sure you used a rigidbody for that, but don't forget to mark it as "kinematic" because otherwise your rigidbody will be simulated physically instead of by code. At some point it became even worse and i could not play anymore, you could even go through walls well it was quite a mess.

I had a lot to say, but you have potential so keep up the good work !

Thank's so much for your feedback. I just played through the build myself and I can see what you mean. I feel like I may have uploaded an old build of the game by mistake, as on the last level you can collect the cake, and the glitching had been fixed :/ my bad.

Thanks again for your feedback, and for playing my game. Much appreciated.

Oh no this is so unfortunate ... I still loved the game anyway, I would be glad to see the fixed build later !

Thank you for your kind words. :) As soon as the jam is done I'm going to re-upload it.
