How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
We went for a non-literal interpretation: as a baker from a poor part of town, you deliver cake (that is quite literal, actually, and absolutely not a lie) to the richest part of the city.

Love it! The graphics and music are so good. The gameplay is really smooth as well.

Great job.

Kind of like getting over it,

Simple but effective,

The art is unfinished, but among the best of the jam from what I have seen so far, could be beautiful if polished

I really enjoyed your game, amazing use of 2d and 3d. The art and music was great. However the controls and game mechanics were a bit rough

Pretty neat game. I've read in your other comments that the movement was not as intended, but I actually liked it and thought it made the game more challenging. Knowing I could lose a lot of progress on a jump made me more deliberate with my movement. I also liked the 2d drawing integrated with a 3d environment.

I really liked your theme interpretation but also your art (this is very clever to mix 2D and 3D) and the music !

However it is very hard to control the character and sometimes it's almost impossible to go through the level :/

To me this just need some more tweaking to be realy good ! Keep it up :D

The controls feels quite uncontrolable( I was like in the game "Getting over it" ), and the combination of the 3d world with 2d sprites is GORGEOUS, so... you made a nice game, but maybe a little harder than it should be)

Reminds me of a game Getting over it)) Cool)

Loved the mix of 2d and 3d in this game, the way you implemented the theme was also really clever! The only issue is that the character felt a little bit hard to control, but maybe that was your intention idk. Great game!!!

Thank you for your feedback!

I'm aware of how floaty the controls feel, and it definitely is not intended. I just sadly didn't have time to do any polishing on it :(

Great job! The game looks and sounds great. The mix between paper and 3d is really creative. I just don't know if it felt great though. Maybe this was intended, but the movements feel a bit too 'slippery'. It kind of felt like I was fighting against the controls instead of against the level. Even with that, I definitely enjoyed it!

Developer

yeah, I agree! It was very "floaty" to me. We just didn't have a lot of time to polish it. Thank you!

The theme of social climbing is very well conveyed. I would love to make the platform more distinguishable from the background. I also like the mix between 2d and 3d graphics.

Developer

Thank you! I did see the platforms blend a little much with the background build. It did trick me into falling off one time haha
