How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The theme is implemented with the opposition of the big world and the micro one. Also this entry has for frame the wedding, which is like two worlds becoming one.
Each level is a cake where you have to reach the top.

Very interesting game, loved the visuals and the rotating level/cake concept; it's definitely one of the games that has best implemented both of the themes.

Unfortunately the chef mechanic feels a bit random; I think it should be a bit more telegraphed and/or forgiving, otherwise it feels like dying suddenly and with no ability to do anything about it (or maybe I'm just bad xD )

Fun platforming

You often can't see wich direction the chief is coming from wich can be a bit frustrating

The animations sometimes go crazy wich can be funny :)

Developer

Hey thanks a lot for playing !

This is actually part of the chief mechanic ! It would be too easy if you always knew where he was ;) I will keep that in mind if you found this frustrating.

Thanks for the review !

Gorgeuos game! The graphics and controls are really really good. The level is also really nice. I think at the last level you should adjust the view to include the chef in the view when he approachs because the death feels kinda.

Developer

Ahah yes actually the spawn of the chief is really awful so i used tricks not to see him spawn x)
To be honest i rushed the last level in like one hour and i didn't really playtested it, so yeah it would need a lot more attention.

Thanks again for playing and for the honest review, you're awesome !

very cool game and amazing idea! idk if i missed it but camera movement would be cool cuz it was kinda hard to navigate trough the spikes

Thanks for the review !

Do you mean that it would be better if you could move the camera by yourself ?

Submitted(+1)

yes! Sorry for my bad explanation

Developer(+1)

I thought about that but I really wanted to make a casual game and not to implement too complicated inputs ... But yeah I don't know I thought this was not that necessary to have such controls while the game is fairly simple and short, but I'll consider it for the future

it was cool, especially the chef kicking his cake)

Developer

Definitely the part that made me laugh the most to make

Great game! The movement works nice and I liked the unique levels.

Thanks a lot for the feedback ! :)

I liked the game and the gameplay. I think it was executed to a high standard. I liked that you added more elements to the game through the level progression. One criticism is that on the level where you can hide from the balls, I could just jump over them, wasn't sure if this was meant to be the case, as it takes away the element that you need to hide.

Developer

It was meant actually, but yeah i see know that there was no real point implementing those.

Thanks a lot for the feedback :D

I really enjoyed this game, it was really creative, and the cake being used in each level was fun, I liked the second level where you had the spikes, everything was well themed. Im not sure where the two worlds element came into the game but the 3D graphics were really nice.

I couldn't quite finish the game, but I enjoyed the concept, please carry on making games!

Developer

The two worlds theme can be interpreted multiple ways. As i mentioned in the description above, the chief versus the player is the opposition of two worlds : the macro world and the micro one, or the real world and the imaginary one. Another more abstract way to see the theme implementation is that the wedding is like two worlds becoming one. It's up to you to see which one makes more sense to you.

Solid. I'm not sure what would be two worlds? But I did love the 3d graphics here. Pretty solid movement.

I did get stuck on the third level (i think it was). I wasn't able to complete it as I'm thrown off the cake when I reach the top every single time. Maybe that was intentional but I don't know since there was no "end of game" type of screen :'D.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :D

Regarding the third level, i think you just got constantly caught when you reached the top, because the chief was looking when you were on the top.

I'm glad you liked this game :)

This was really good! I like how you interpreted the theme of two worlds as a wedding and used cakes as the levels. Really creative. The levels were fun too, each one was unique. I would want some control over the camera as the player though, visibility is a bit of an issue. I guess you could also angle the camera a bit higher and zoom out a bit so that I can see more of the level. Good concept, and a good execution.

Developer

I didn't notice quickly enough that the camera could be an issue, my bad. I also tried to make camera movements to make the chief looking more obvious. I will consider tweaking the camera a bit more in the future.

Anyway thank you for your kind words ! :D

I absolutely love it, even though I’m too bad to finish it
