How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
our theme connection is that the enemies fall from the sky, and the player has a number of vertical movement options, including a ground slam.
The 'bean' in our project is the Beyond Earth Armored Nexus, which is the model of mech suit that the main character controls - it's shaped like a bean :)
(there were a few visual bugs with this version, please go get the less buggy version from the itch page if you don't mind thank youuu)

Really fun combat mechanics! The theme wasn't implemented very well but the special object was nicely implemented. Good graphics too!

It works for me. The graphics are nice. I love the title menu's sound design and animation, I just wish the menu's animation didn't play each time you switched from one tab to the next. The upgrade system, weapon variety and enemy variety is good aswell. The graphics are rather well polished, the sound design is good, overall a well polished game.

Very good art, especially on the main menu. Gameplay is fun as well, and I like the level up system. With some minor adjustments and a few more levels, this could be a full game.

Is the proper build of you game uploaded right now? Currently it's stuck on a solid navy background with the text "Bean" above, but nothing else
