have you not tried just downloading the linux version and adding it to Steam from desktop mode

It was very ballsy making an adventure game of all things in the time frame but I loved it. The clashing models (probably just because of the time frame) added to the game's charm so much and the characters, while not really my thing, were all nice to talk to and not annoying at all. It wasn't deep, challenging or thought provoking but it was very good at being fun and chill and that's just as good. Thanks for a good time!
I like the cute pixel art graphics and the general effort spent on the presentation. The game has pretty good UI but, unfortunately, the game is not particularly fine (which is okay). You have a pretty good base but I think you need to consider 'why' and 'how'.
The game has two currencies: health and soul. Why are they physical currencies the character has to pick up when they come from the same place and you get practically the same amount from every enemy type. Why does the player evolve when the new evolution does not have any different to the previous?
The player has to attack constantly spawning incoming waves of enemies, which is completely fine of course but did you consider how the player is supposed to fight these enemies? Enemies can be attacked at infinite speeds. Maybe the different evolutions should each have a unique attack? (the elephant could have a long but wide sweep? the tiger could have quick but thin swipes which can be cancelled into each other but the player cannot turn around until the current attack is fully finished?).
Of course, you should still be proud of yourself for releasing this game. It was still a pleasant experience and it was nice to see what the next evolution was just because of your cute sprite work. I'm sorry for being harsh and I can delete this comment if you want but please don't let it demoralise you. You were on the right track but I just felt like you needed to think about why you were doing what you were doing more. https://www.youtube.com/@GMTK is a pretty good youtube channel for beginner game devs because it will help stimulate that part of your brain.
Thanks for releasing this game and have a good day!
Your puzzles were clever and fun and I really had to think outside of the box sometimes, which is always a good thing! I think this game could have benefited from having smaller, single room puzzles (zoomed out without a panning camera). If you did that, I see no reason why this could not be expanded into a larger game! Also, it was clever that you used a screen filter as with simple shapes and an old PC style color palette but perhaps the computer-like presentation could have been incorporated into the theme more (a program created to attempt to rebirth humans?).
Regardless, you should be really proud of yourself, this game was sick. Thanks for making it!

If it helps, this is how I play the game. I'm not sure if you meant this already but I typically flash the light. Really, you only want to be in flight long enough to gauge the direction the bullets are moving towards and then instantly switch back to dodge and continue shooting.
Thanks for playing!
Good concept and art direction but more could have been done to fully realise said concept.
The main draw comes from tactically converting enemies (stronger enemies are more dangerous to be around but will be more powerful once converted) and the decision to go and convert someone else or keep the converted enemy on high health so enemies should NOT be in separate rooms and instead should always be able to hit you or put them in an entirely different arena where your converted enemies cannot reach them.
You had a great idea but that can't carry you all the way! Still, I was impressed and enjoyed my time with this game.
Really like the presentation. I don't really understand the game play though, unfortunately. I think it also lacks a bit of direction. Perhaps more thought should have been put towards the risk and reward of mining things getting rid of your shelter but being necessary for planting. Maybe that was on me though. Good job, regardless!
Really creative idea. Not very related to the theme, all that's needed to fix that though is to make up some weird story reason. I also think that the act of simply walking around and picking objects up could have been made more fun but it was still thrilling to have to run around and collect things as quickly as possible!
I was impressed by the idea but it should have been explained better. Also, I think simply disabling collisions when the light is off isn't enough. I think something needs to be changed to make the idea more cohesive. Also, flashlight should have been on click or some other button that doesn't require me to take my finger of the right button. Regardless, still a good time and a cool idea. Good job!
