I would laugh so hard if someone just got a crust for their pizza.

Anyway! I'm a composer looking for a team since I'd love to join this game jam; it looks like a lot of shenanigans are about to go down and I want to partake :D Here's my soundcloud if you'd like to take a look at my previous work: https://soundcloud.com/laurenxpham

Let me know if you'd like to team up!

Hey there! I was, indeed, looking for the former since I don't know how to program, unfortunately. Your art looks great; I love anime, haha!

If we could find a programmer, then I would join you guys, but it seems another team would like to pick me up so I will be looking into collaborating with them.

Best wishes in finding/forming a team!

No worries! And sure thing.

Thank you; I appreciate your compliment! And I hope to see content from your end as well!

Hey there! If you're still looking for a team, my girlfriend and I would love to have you. We've been listening to your soundcloud and we're very impressed!

I'm a programmer and she's a 2D artist. We've previously made SkyMaze and Katie Kills Zombies (excluding the writing)  together. Additionally, we were both team members on Hero Human Man-Pirate, and I'm the creator of The Ultimate Nerd Game.

I hope we can work together!

Hello, yes! I am still looking for a team. I took a look into your guys' games and played a bit; it was fun!

I would love to join you and your girlfriend! Do you guys have Discord, or a place where we can chat further?

Fantastic! I just made a discord for us. Unfortunately itch doesn't have private messages, so please email me - jimmycushnie at gmail - and I'll send an invite to you.

Your music is so lovely that it makes me want to stop making music in favor of your music being used for everything. Despite the fact that we have completely different styles. XD :P

Oh my gosh, whaaat? No, haha! Keep making music :D

Do you have a portfolio/website/soundcloud? I'd love to take a listen to your stuff.

I do chiptunes. I love working with NES sounds.

Your music's sick! My favorites are Jungle Groove Grove, The Good Fight, and Where To Now?

What tracker do you use?

Submitted

Not using a tracker! I’m a cheater (though I do make every  effort to make sure the songs are as accurate as posible to the sound chips limitations). For a DAW, I use Reaper, and I use a plugin called Super Audio Cart.

Oh sweet, Reaper! That's cool that you can make your chip tunes sound authentic through a DAW. Have you ever used a tracker before?

Years ago I attempted using Famitracker. I could probably figure it out if I really had the time, but I really don't. :-/ That's why I shelled out... too much money for Super Audio Cart.

Ohhhh, I see, haha! Yeah, Famitracker is definitely meticulous, but the process runs pretty smoothly once you get the hang of it.

Thank you!

Dude, that's awesome that you're trying it out, though! It's always an interesting experience to test one's limits. Good luck on your first jam! :D

Lol this is me though.
I always get stuck and lose hours on a few dumb problems cuz I'm a noob. Then I get tired, and neglect to stop, and keep making dumber mistakes.
Like right now. I've been up for 21 hours. Been working on my jam for... 16. I feel like I've gotten nowhere. And now I've got some weeeeiiird things happening, and I can't figure out whyyy. Perhaps I should just sleep, and maybe figure it out in the morning.
