look really well made.

This game's graphics, music and sound effects are really great. But I feel it lacks some direction for the player. You don't really have a task to fulfill yet.

Developer (1 edit)

The things are supposed to happen on their own. As you wander around a bit the enemies will come to you. Then, the friendly space ship, and so on. But there really isn't any task to fulfill. You just survive for a few minutes until you and your friend die. There is no win state XD

So no happy end? ;( jk, I'd like to play it again when the current bugs are fixed.

Developer

I'll upload the fixed version after the voting is over

The game is absolutely gorgeous, one of the best looking submissions by far. But the enemy ships are definitely bugged, and also, having to repeatedly move the mouse over and over again is a really bad control scheme, especially for people like me who have their mouse chord in some kind of cable managing desk. It feels like it was designed with gamepads or touch screens in mind more than mice.

Looks very good, like the music and sfx as well.

Really cool game, well polished, considering time limits.

Developer(+1)

Yea, i purposefully made it minimalistic, so i could make something that looked good even if i only had two days to make the game.

I had the same issue with the super-fast ships, but the movement on my ship actually felt pretty satisfying all sped up.  It's hard to rate given the crazy framerate/physics, but I had fun zipping around for a bit.

Developer

Yea. It's a simple bug. I just had to change 2 lines of code to fix it. Too bad i didnt test it enough while i could still submit a non-bugged version :/

Visually this game looks awesome. Clean and minimalistic. I don't know if it's a bug or a feature but all the enemy ships are just crazy! They fly around at the speed of sound and there is no way to fight them except spinning in place, shooting and hoping that they run into your projectiles. There is some novelty and uniqueness in a control mechanics and maybe it's worth building a bigger project upon it.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. The ships moving fast is a bug. They are supposed to be relatively slow. I'm gonna look into that.

I had the same problem with the super fast ships, but the aesthetic was nice!
