I like the Mega Man Battle Network combat system, though I did notice a few frustrating problems with how the main character was oriented on the grid (sometimes when an enemy attack would land while switching lanes, the main character would end up awkwardly standing on the ridge of the lane rather than in the center). That and the jumping was fairly awkward to me, though that might be because my laptop couldn't play it at a very high framerate. I actually had a harder time crossing one of the bridges than I did fighting some of the enemies. That said, the art style is nice and the overall narrative is fun!

Feels really retro and the MMBN style combat was a plus. The only problem I have is that the game seems to crash when I do battles. Still a neat project in presentation and gameplay.

Did not expect the MMBN-esque combat! Very fun, minus the input lag! Overall didn't hinder the experience though. It was very cute and enjoyable and had a lot of crazy setpieces! I loved the visual gag where the camera pans to the crab and its just gone LOL. Did one of the monster attacks reverse my controls?? That's EVIL, but I love the variety of attacks. Give yourself a pat on the back, thank you for the short(ish) but sweet experience :]

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback! Yes, the bats can confuse you and reverse the controls for a few seconds.

I really like the fun, lighthearted aspects of this game. You feel like you're on a goofy adventure the whole way through.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!

I need to play more but it's a nice game from what I played, I especially liked how the character shares my name without me having to set it 😄

Developer

Thank you! I hope you keep playing so you encounter the Kaiju. The jumps are easier if you play with a controller.

What a neat experience! Wonderful story concept. I liked the graphics and style. Good audio track. It took a little bit to get the hang of the combat but its an interesting mix of different genres of gameplay! It was all predictable until the boss fight, kind of took a different turn there and could use a bit of reworking. I couldnt tell where the bounds were at times or if he was being hit for a while but we made it! Great job!

Thank you so much for your feedback! Yeah, there's so much to improve. I just ran out of time. I'm glad you enjoy it!
