The camera broke at the last screen and wouldnt go down but before that it was fun rage style game
Hi! About the camera, sorry for that bug. I didn't fix it because lack of time + laziness. I just added a Restart shortcut key, 'R', for players to avoid getting stuck. So sorry for that issue, I know the solution, but I didn't do it. Thanks for playing my game, hope you have fun!
Very nice! I would reset the cursor position each time you switch screens.
The sounds are very good too!
Oh hey, thank you for playing my game too. About the cursor, I never have thought of that, but if it kill's the fun of the player, and would be detrimental to the gameplay, I think I will. And lastly, thank you for your compliment to the music in my game.
the music is nice!
This is really fun and has a whimsical feel I really like. A really cool detail is how the music reacts to what I’m doing. I’m not into speedrunning but I could see those who are getting a kick out of this. The use of theme is kinda weak though.
Glad that you had fun playing my game. A little trivia about the music tho, when I downloaded the music pack from Kenney, I thought that it was a looping BGM lol. But when I extracted it, it was composed of different parts of I think is a single music. Nevertheless, I just thought that it wouldn't hurt anyway to make it so when you switch to a new room, music will react to it. And about the theme, yup, you have a point. I just wanted to stay away from the common use of "rotation" in games like "space" or rotating levels which I feel is the common approach in this game jam (though, I'm sure that other devs can present the said ideas better than I did). Plus, for once, I wanted to create a game that is actually fun, and can make the player have a good time in this game jam. Have a good day bro :)
Edit: After seeing the replies in your submission, all I can say is you really killed this game jam.
Pretty fun! I managed to barely get a sub 1 minute run after a couple of tries! It has pretty strong jump king/getting over it vibes, although I'm not fully sure how it is related to rotation, unless it's about the ragdoll character being flipped around all over the place. Still, good stuff!
Yeah! By the way, I just noticed that it really has that vibes when I'm close to finishing the build. And you also reminded me of that.
About the theme, after seeing the similar games who runs ragdoll mechanics to their games, I think this game also follows it :)
Lastly, glad you liked it. Your 1-minute speedrun is better than I did which is about 2-3 minutes.
