This would be a cool concept for a multiplayer game.

Developer

Yes, I also thought about this :D Unfortunately for jams is not a good idea, but later I want to try :)

Wow really interesting game concept! I haven't seen a top down shooter with this idea in mind! The game is simple and fun. I loved the fact that my bullets grew with me and that I became a monster! The only small feedback I can find is maybe make the bullet disappear after a bit, that way players cannot range across the map. You can be proud of what you made, that is a wonderful game 😄💛

Thank you so much for your huge feedback :) I'm really glad that you like it. I also hear your feedback and will try to make it better. Bullet disappears after some time, but maybe time is so big :)
I'm really proud of what I did because this is the first game that I start making alone, but in the progress join other teammates. And this is my first game in 2D :D

You really put up a challenge for yourself! You probably didn't sleep much that weekend ahah. It's even more rewarding to see you succeeded at making your first 2D game 😄

Thank you very much for the kind words. They are so inspiring.

Yes, I almost didn't sleep all weekend :D Sometimes I watched a lot of tutorials :) Sometimes I chatted with my community on the server in the background. It really brought me a lot of fun.

Nice little top down shooter :)

I think I killed all the enemies, at least i dont see them anymore  :)

Developer

Thanks for your review. Yes, you must try to kill more than you can, because enemies could even kill each other :) Unfortunately, sometimes the win screen doesn't want to show, I don't know why at the moment :)

Eyy very solid shooter!  Enjoyed becoming godzilla and making the enemies tiny dudes.  Had a few camera shifting issues around the border but could have been because I wasn't playing fullscreen.  Really nice work!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the camera issue is not dependent on fullscreen. I really did not enough tested it :)

I really loved the idea of the game!

But the question have to be asked: Can you fit into the building if you are very huge?

Developer

Thanks for your kind words! Yes, it should fit into the building, but I didn't test it very well :D

The controls were nice! The shooting felt solid. The music was fun also. I would like to move a bit faster as I grew because I felt very slow by the time I was huge. Great submission

Thank you for your review. Yes, maybe I miss also changing move speed and attack power, but when you are big you should feel like a huge slow player, but not so much :)

Not sure how it'll be judged by everyone, but I guess we're mainly here for being able to share our work so, I tested the game!

Clear idea and I guess I finished the game because I killed the 23 (24?) enemies, and I was so big that I'm not sure if I missed someone :D.

The game worked perfectly (some little visual glitch when growing with the tiles, but nothing ruining the experience), well done!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much for your kind words and for understanding.

Yes, you finish the game no matter how much you killed. So each time you try beat yourself. Also enemy shoots at the enemy too, so it's like a battle royale :) Maybe no clear information about the score, I'll think about that.
