Interesting concept! I think there is a lot of potential here to create a new Minesweeper-like game.

Developer

Thanks PickentCode ! The Minesweeper mechanic is not planned for this game but it could, indeed :p

Interesting concept! But in my opinion something is missing to prevent just clicking randomly all the time without following any clues

Hi Ochsi. Thanks for the comment. You're right, there's something missing to drive or constrain the player. I'm already working on the post-jam version and testing this : you can only dig next to a digged tile, not randomly. So you have to choose where you dig the first tile. Furthermore, there will be a limited number of clues and also other types of clues, bonus or malus ! Something challenging is also missing : an opponent, limited actions or the environment being against the player.

A nice prototype! Interested to see where you take this when you have more time to work on it

Developer

Thanks ! Hopefully I will continue working on the game (it's not a hope, it's a goal :p). Stay tuned.

Good start. I was happy to see someone else using Construct 3. It's perfect for game jams.

Developer

Thanks Jim ! I went back to C3 since about one year and I like it a lot (wanting more to create than to develop !). Indeed perfect for game jams.

Really like this idea! Would be nice to see it fleshed out a bit more

Developer

Thanks Viki! You're right with the "flesh". For me it resonates a lot with the feedback loop and the juice in general. It's something I have to work on, of course without forgetting to have a game quite challenging and fun: not so easy :D

For a prototype, I think there's potential here. I think looking for a hidden treasure based on clues found by digging could be really interesting; would love to see a full version of this!

Developer

Thanks! Some features still wait to be implemented :p I'll post devlogs from time to time when I'll work on the game.
