I loved it! I collected 15 coins and finished the game! I too was searching for the last 3 keys and was really sad to read that you ran out of time. The game is really charming and I hope you make it into something awesome after the jam!

Thankyou so much!

Sadly I can't run the game. A window with "Loading..." pops up and then closes after around half a second. Do you have any idea how to fix that? win10

The only reason I can think of that it would actually run and then crash is that one of the levels files has been messed up, so maybe a corrupted download? but that seems unlikely if it actually runs in the first place, so I dont really know. sorry

I liked it, being honest i subestimate it seeing the cover, but u put very weel the sprites and is funt to control.

But, u only need to upgrade you level design.

Yeah, you can definitely tell when my creative skills are used as opposed to Kenneys

Fun little adventure and enjoyed the bits of humour throughout :)
I managed to get 15/15 coins, but looked like I was still missing the last 3 keys by the end.

Developer(+1)

yeah, due to time I gave up on the last 3, but I guess I forgot to completely remove them

I wish movement speed were a bit faster and the game were a bit more zoomed out so I can see more. Other than that, quite an enjoyable walk around town. I liked collecting keys and items like the shovel to try and figure out where to go. It could use a bit more, but it's got the heart of an exploration game. Nice job.

Cool game. The open world is pretty massive but a little dull. Good job! Also not about the game, but do you have any suggestions on how I can start using MonoGame?

Developer

Thanks, that was my biggest concern, but I couldnt add too much more due to my poor time management. As for monogame http://rbwhitaker.wikidot.com/monogame-tutorials and https://www.trccompsci.online/mediawiki/index.php/MonoGame_Tutorials are pretty good resources, and just a youtube walkthrough of making a basic game are really helpful to start. Also the monogame forums are good for finding out how to do some stuff and debugging

nice relaxing little romp. The assets were well selected and it was nice to wander around. The end was a funny twist too. It felt a bit clunky at times but hey 48 hours is no time at all and lots got done. I liked it

Good fun! Funny ending. Don't think I could get into the house with a number 4 on it... maybe I was just doing something wrong.

Thanks!, theres a high chance something broke, the codebase is a bit of a shambles tbh
