How does your game incorporate the theme?
The user has to connect the correct components with the correct goal locations. Components are connected together in the 'combiner', and connected to the goal locations by conveyor belts. The user connects the components to the correct belts by using a rotating belt that is controlled by a single mouse click.
Bonus: Single asset pack, no text, only mouse clicks.

The Concept it cool but I dont like the environment and atmosphere and how unalive the place feels. Maybe you should add people working there and also make it look like its in a factory

I see that you also did the single asset no text only mouse challenge :D I applied the fix to the file, but the instructions on itch says it is in the level2 file, but it is actually the level1 file that needed to be changed. And it needs a hex editor, not just any plain text editor.

The game broke down for me in level 4 I think. I missed a conveyor switch in the bottom left and when I noticed it, the parts that were supposed to go in there disappeared once they reached it. At that point there had been a lot of them going the wrong way so it probably got clogged up or something.

As for the game itself, good stuff! I think the conveyor turning is a bit slow and it's annoying that you can't click it again while it's in motion for when you made a mistake. But those are my only complaints, really. I'm glad that you can't lose (well, except due to bugs :D but not as a game mechanic) because this game is stressful enough as it is after the first few levels :D

Really good job, well done!

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback and for playing it through the extra levels.  The instructions have been updated based on your comments (off by one due to zero counting and sublime being such a good text editor for silently also handing hex without complaining).

Good feedback on the speed, and yes much more play testing needed to knock out bugs and improve playability.  Level 5 is the last level and yes there is a bug in that corner that eats components.  There is no level 6 so you finished the game!

(1 edit)

The game will not progress to Level 3 after completing Level 2 without applying a fix.  The instal instructions include a way of fixing it if you feel up to making a small hex change.  If not... then a fixed version will be uploaded after the jam ends.
