I don't really understand where the "puzzle" part you mentionned is, and the enemies were a little weird.
But the dying sound is so funny π gj for that !

Um... Yeah, this game doesn't fit the theme of this jam. You could share this in MyFirstGameJam's Itch Page if it is your first game or one of the first ones. Everyone loves a good old zombie shooter game. If you wanted it to correspond to the theme, you could've added different zombie kills that makes you get skill points that help you craft a different gun. Anyways keep building more games!
I don't see the theme anywhere in this game, sadly. There is also some problems, like the zombies who follow you even if they don't see you, so when you land from a jump you can't even shoot, or like the platforms mixed with the light that makes they invisible. Anyway, it's fun but has at lot of problems. Gg for the submission!
didnt know if i should expect it to be a shooter or a skill-based platformer, i guess closer to the second? all in all i enjoyed the visuals, altough i struggled to find a connection with the theme, the music was enjoyable the first 4 or 5 loops, but quickly wore out, the plattforms were quite narrow, and several jumps took the character off-screen, meaning it was more challenging to aim your landings, perhaps the game would be more accesible if it had wider surfaces, or a larger screen?
all in all this is a very good project for a weeks worth of development, and i'd love to see what it could be if development continued, even after the jam ^~^
