Love the art style and funny audio. But enemies didn't attack or hurt me and controls were weird.

The game looks really cool and I love the graphics but man, you have to fix the bags, they just ruin it for me

This game gave me a good laugh! The bugs did put a dampener on it but I would love to see this continue development. The art is fantastic and I love the sounds. Great job with what you were able to get finished. Definitely see a lot of potential

Just to say as others have that I love the visuals and concept of the game and its such a shame that you had those issues because I would have loved to play it as it could have been (would also love to play it in the future if you keep working on it)

This games aesthetic is INSANE!!! The environmental voxel art with the lighting looks ridiculously good and matches with the 2D pixel art sprites! The animations are so smooth and expressive (I can't even imagine how many frames it took to create the weapon reload)! The enemy designs are also really cool and unique! The setting is also a really fun idea to play around and opens up a lot to the imagination on how this world could be expanded! The original scope / plan of the game concept also fits the theme really well too, plus the fact that its also an interesting premise! There is so much potential here that I was disheartened when I learned that the you couldn't interact with any of the enemies. The movement feels nice and smooth though, just a shame when your momentum gets stopped by enemy collisions. Overall, this game has so much potential! It already has the makings of a great game, and a lot of people have taken a great interest in it! Regardless if you continue development or not, I wish your team luck on any future endeavors they may find on the way and hope you had fun with this jam! Great job!

I really liked the art style on this game! I can see this game being a great title if it continues development.  Very creative setting and weapons.

This game has potential… Please continue development of this beyond the jam!

This submission better not stop here. The art and sound fx are legit funny. I love the take on cute but deadly Doom/Quake style game.

As mentioned by others, enemies don't do damage or move. I also had issues with the keybinds (Z to move forward and Q to move left). Once I figured out those, zooming around the map was fun. Some dead enemies blocked my path but the smooth jump mechanic helped me get unstuck.

Please keep working on Hell's Kitchen and bring it to Steam. +1 Wishlist & Follower.

Thank you very much for your comment :)

About the key binding, we come from France and i've just realised at 7:00am that i've only set the key binding for a azerty keybord that's why there's two build one azerty and one qwerty ^^

I used magica voxel too, it  was really anoying(magica voxel).

The blend between 2D and 3D is well done and look's epic your game was cool and the concept too, really like to see what it will look like when finished!:)

The game is so cool ! Even if the gameplay is a bit slow 'cause enemies can't move and hurt you the idea is awesome ! I like the doom reference (with this homemade music) and the fact that guns yell reminds me this cursed weappon in borderlands.

Your game is really cool, keep working on it and it could a real doom like which is funny to play ! Well done comrade (°u°)7

The atmosphere was cool, the audio was funny, the animation was beautiful, but the game doesn't seem playable atm. None of the enemies moved around for me, and there was a point very early in where I couldn't progress any farther because I couldn't move past dead bodies. Really ambitious work though!

Thank you! Yes unfortunately as we wrote on the itch.io page we had big integration problems in the last rush and the IA broke and the boss does not appear :'(

Hi (From france)

I found your art style so beautifull it's very well animated. it was very fun to see weapon eat munitions.

The atmosphere is also very nice.

Hi

Just a small question how have you done the ennemy to become 3D from 2D sprites ? Is it a shader or a static mesh made in 3D for each frame ?
