Hey, sorry for coming to this so late, I've been trying to get my game finally finished :D But this was cool, to be made in such a short time, and it is very playable too. I think maybe the projectiles could do with some polish, but the enemy sprites were cool. The Player's gun was stuck in one position, but other than that he looked pretty cool too ;) A great fun effort and proof you can get a playable game finished in a quick time - quicker than me anyway ;)

I hope you are still working on this game. it is quite fun for me. i found something that may make it significantly more playable for other players. it seems that the bullets are causing the game to lag over time. i have done a few tests and during level 10 you notice it the most. if you have a single bullet it will almost always hit a target. once you have a split of 3/5/7 bullets some of them don't hit a target. i believe that you are experiences an instance overload where the bullets are still processing outside of the playing field. if you dont already have this setup, please add it. make 4 boxes on the outside of the playing area. call these edge or deadzone or something like that. when the bullets collide with the boxes, they will destroy themselves causing no damage to anything. i believe this will help the playability of your game and allow user to go much further past level 10 without the game lagging so much. you can test this by intentionally gaining bullet shot speed and bullet splitting. keep damage as low as you can. the more bullets you have per second in level 10 will show you the lag. do it again and dont split the bullets just focusing on speed alone. limited damage increase to make it through the level but just enough to kill things relatively quick so you can see that the monster instances are not the overload factor in level 10. I hope this helps, the game is fun and has potential .i hope to see an unlimited level game in the future.  great job!

Pretty fun game! Did you make all those assets yourself? I only had an issue with the main character stuttering (I saw some of the other comments mentioned it too). It's the only thing that was a bit weird. Also the game seemed a bit easy for me, but maybe I didn't play it far enough to get to the hard part. :)

I think it checks all the boxes for this bootcamp: key mechanics and fun. Here are my thoughts:

1. the background music felt invasive at certain moments. Like it was competing with the SFX of enemies and items.

2. Some sprites' animation felt strange. The main character's gun was constantly flickering. Not sure if that was intentional or a bug. The dark-wolf-demon walking looked like a cartoon with the rapid tiny steps, but slow movement.

3. It was unclear how close you have to go through enemies to lose HP. Some hits I should have received, I didn't, and in other instances, my HP loss was a mystery. I would solve this with a knock back on the character, or some frames of invincibility after a hit.

4. I was a big fan of the random power-ups you get while leveling up. I would add a count of how many I have collected and tag the uncollected ones as 'new'.

Hey again. Well done on your 1st game. Pretty much all my previous feedback still stands, I think this is a really fun core gameplay loop. I'd have liked to see some more polish and content on this game. One thing I didn't pick up on last time was the background image seems to inverted or flipped in places, it doesn't look natural once noticed.

Congrats on getting a game completed!

Overall I thought the game was enjoyable, and it speaks to the strength of the Survivorlike formula that with just a few base elements you've got a fun game that can be expanded on pretty easily!

Like others, I had to download the Windows build as I could not get the browser version to maximize.

Some extra polish items could take this game even further. Mainly have the character actually aim while shooting as currently the character seems to be glitching/stuttering - the gunhand just keeps shaking.

One thing I did notice that kept taking me out of the enjoyment was the level up/next level progression. It is so abrupt, with little fanfare that leads into it, and all enemies just magically disappearing that I got a bit frustrated. I think this is a part that can be "juiced up" to make it more enjoyable and ease the player into the next round.

Other than that great job!

Hello and Thank you for finding time to play my game. The problem with the Browser is problem of the Edition of GameMaker. I was trying hard to export it to HTML5 because Gamemaker don't export it. there was a problem with my edition of GameMaker. So this was the best for NOW. I had to uninstall and install many versions of GameMaker to have this result, because with older versions of GameMaker  i had problems with the game and with newer versions i couldn't export it to HTML5. Also this was my first time i used GameMaker because i  use Unity for my Developing.  I get in The BootCamp 10/12/24 so i had less time than others to make my game and that was difficult to make the game and fix all the problems. So for me this was the  best i could do.  In The future i will make some updates and i hope to fix and the Web Browser problem. I think in Mozilla Firefox is better to try it for Web.Thank you again for your time. I played your Game too and  i will make my Review soon.

Fun game but the browser version didn't work for me. The browser version was aq small screen with scrollers no matter what zoom level I put into my browser.

The windows executable worked for me, Maybe add a warning that the windows executable needs to install gamemaker libraries.

The visuals and sounds effects were awesome. I didn't understand the controls too well but the default reactions worked out well for me. I really liked the progression system and how quickly the progression happened.

Hello and thank you for the time you spend to play my game. As I said to other friends the problem of the Browser was from the Edition of GameMaker that didn't let me to export for some reason to HTML5 so I had to uninstall many versions of GameMaker and install others and try to export. So finally after more tries, I did it but the different versions of GameMaker created other compatibility problems to the game. So this was the best I could do from 10/12 I got in the Bootcamp in so little time I had.  I think that in Mozilla FireFox. is better,if you want to try it. I will make some updates in the Next Days. Thank you again for your time.

Loved MonsterFarm when I played it last week! Congrats on not only finishing a game, but also making a fun one! For some reason, I can't make the currently uploaded version to display correctly - it shows a fully zoomed-in view even though it's only within Itch's non-maximized game window, and the maximize button isn't doing anything (tested on Chrome and Firefox). Hope you get that fixed soon - and congrats once again for your submission!
