Nice work. I had fun playing it. My criticism is the jump mechanic felt a little floaty to me. Thanks for making this.
There's a lot of complete features here, great job. I love the level-up/skill concept. Also having to be ready for things to go bad in either direction due to a gap in platforms in the middle. Good job. The only thing I'm missing is sound effects for jumping, life loss, and skill coin pick-ups.
This was really fun! The upgrading system was really cool! I might have been a *little* more generous with the coins haha, it felt a little slow on the progression. But the fact that you could upgrade was really great. The music reminded me a little bit of old mcdonald had a farm?
EDIT: Oh forgot to mention but the whole strategic element of needing to spend some time down low / some time up high was really neat.
I had a lot of fun playing this! Loved the upgrading system, it gave a great sense of progression. I might have the player move with the platforms that they're standing on to make the platforming a little easier. Keep up the good work!
Good game, but it take a long time for coins to appear with not much for the character to do. Also the music has a kind of Old MacDonald vibe to it. Lighting is well executed. I would maybe have coins appear more frequently and increase the prices in the shop to balance out
