Can't wait to see multiplayer. By the way, what do you think of raylab? What advantages does it have over Godot? thanks.
Thanks, umm well it teaches you the details of gamedev to a degree, which is why i choose to go with it for this game Jam, because while it handles a wide variety of stuff, you can still see how the game works, take collision for instance.. it took me so long to figure out, but when i did, it was so rewarding and i felt so proud! also because it's in C, which is the only language i can write in for now. I've always wanted to try out Godot, but then i would need to learn C#, or GD script, which would take me a long time... instead i used my C knowledge and with some elbow grease, i was up and running.
For a first project, this impressive!
I feel like there's some room for audio, but given that you were also learning to make a game and doing all the art yourself, it's very understandable that that's not present.
It seems a bit buggy, when closing it dumps core and doesn't always return to normal resolution if it was on fullscreen. Also the enemy ai is kinda fuzzy. With that say, it's a lovely thing!
Thank you for your feedback! I uploaded the game yesterday on the last 30 seconds(literally)... and am full aware of the bugs, i will work on them today, and hopefully create a further polished version.
Sweet! I'll be following development!
You should try out the Snow_Fix2 upload, i fixed most bugs, besides the core dump one (its kinda hard), but it doesn't produce as often as it did..
