  • WOW! Definitely one of the best entries. This game had great art, was fun, and stayed true to the retro style with 2-player dynamics. The only wish I would've had would've been a tutorial level and perhaps a single player campaign. I would definitely pay for a full version of this game! Amazing work
  • Very polished!

Very nice submission, the art is great, and it's nice to see genres like these tackled in Game Jams, they're pretty rare.

If you're looking for constructive criticism, I would have appreciated a little bit of a tutorial, and it would have been nice to have the range/abilities of the various unit types be a bit more clear from the start.

Keep up the good work :)

I really enjoyed this game. The best submission I played so far. I only have praise but if you were to pursue this forward I just wanted to share some thoughts:

  • Fire range is not clear, units shoot from way too far.
  • Fire power may need to be rebalanced; a little drone decimated 3 of my units in one turn.
  • Icons/powerups could be explained earlier. Also, a smaller arena to introduce the different units one by one may be helpful.
  • The enemy turn may be a little slow, I’d add an option to speed it up.
