Good effort, it has more depth than I thought it had on first glance, but I did find the combat a bit frustrating, and straight up rage quit when opening a chest just insta-killed me. I understand this sort of things do fit in with the genre, but debuffs/setbacks feel a lot better than just getting a Game Over

The LS16 can produce mind boggling effects!

Fantastic submission, really in the spirit of the competition, feels like it would realistically be an app for such a console.

Very nice submission, the art is great, and it's nice to see genres like these tackled in Game Jams, they're pretty rare.

If you're looking for constructive criticism, I would have appreciated a little bit of a tutorial, and it would have been nice to have the range/abilities of the various unit types be a bit more clear from the start.

Keep up the good work :)

Thank you for the comment! We did realize that a way to end the day early would have been nice a bit too late into the jam, and did not have enough time to implement it. It's on our list for our post-jam improvements :)

Thank you for the note about the visual clarity of one-way platforms, I'll see if I can improve that as well :)

Thank you for the kind words! Looking forward to sitting down with your submission soon :)

Thank you for the great feedback! I'm looking forward to sitting down with your project soon :)

Thank you for the feedback! I think I really pushed the Godot AudioStreamGenerator to its limits with this project, and I couldn't really optimize it more without having to rewrite a lot of code in C++, and even then I'm not sure it would fix the issues.

Great point about controlling the pitch wheel with midi, I'll put that on the list of post-rating-period improvements! :)

Very fun little project! Using actual photos and an actual hammer (is that what that's called? ahah) is some very nice skeuomorphism (yeah I just wanted to use a fancy word).

I noticed the notes had a pretty long delay between when I clicked and when the sound played, but switching from my laptop to my desktop to check fixed it, so it might just be a problem with my laptop being slow.

Love the vibe, look and feel and the samples you chose. I kind of wish you could interact with it with the mouse more, but that's more of a nitpick than anything.

Good job, I like this one a lot!

Very interesting idea, I think this has the potential to be a very powerful tool and to make some very nice sounds, but I think the default parameters definitely need to be changed, it took me a while to notice that the frequency was below audible range. My suggestion would be to work on the default parameters for new notes, and maybe have a couple of preset grids to show some of the cool things that can be done with your tool.

Very nice work overall :)

Thank you so much for the kind words :)

Hi Rubens, thank you for the advice, however we have activated the ShadedArrayBuffer the first time we uploaded the game, and this is the first time we're hearing about issues with the embed. What browser are you using?

Very charming idea and presentation! Enjoyed it :)

Great idea and presentation! very cute!
