Really good game. Love to see a good deck builder.

The only problem I found was that I missed the critical information that flashes in the instructions at the start. I didn't know how to level up, so I ended up having to figure out a way to cheese the enemies, until I just couldn't match them, and the forced progression made the missed level-ups devastating.

Developer

Thank you!

The first instructions are just about the card swipping, you can always hover the mouse cursor over the Level and your Life/Choco to have more informations. (but basically, you end a fight with at least 1 choco > level up!)

I love that you made a deck builder for a jam.

Pretty good game!

Although I wish I've understand the next move box earlier, would've made the game easier for me.

wow! really cool. I loved it!

I think it's kind of hard to judge how much damage your attacks will do, though. what's the formula?

when I was going to "deal 1 damage" sometimes I dealt 3, sometimes 4.

Yeah card are canvases so it was hard to modify the actual damage. I made it that way before implementing the formula, so it was too late to modify aha

the formula is : (damage on card) + (your level) - (your opponent shield)

Very interesting idea(don't remember seeing sometjing like this at all) and well implemented too. The fox  is very OP tho.

You gotta take it easy on the jellies before him. By killing them slowly, you can “heal” your hearts above what you start with, until you have more hearts than the fox ;P
