play long into the apocalypse, for free! lol

good to hear someone tried it again after all this time!

Oh no! Tales of Brittlebreach crashed! Did you actually collect a crash log, or was that just some placeholder text?

It’s cool that you could put this together in Löve! The performance is just terrible though, haha.

It seems like it’s probably playing in sync for me, judging only by ear and eye. However, to actually match the waves coming in, it feels like I usually have to hit between beats, rather than with them. I couldn’t really find a groove.

First time around, I was so focused on typing that I didn’t even realize I could buy new decorations. I like the vibe!

I kind of dig the rotation—I hadn’t even considered it for my entry. I would, however, rotate around the center of the screen, rather than the top left corner.

Art and music are great! But I haven’t been able get past the first room with a green orb yet, haha.

This was very fun! I like your simple art style a lot too!

Unexpected and hilarious! I didn’t even know that löve had features to move the window, haha.

Yeah, it’s more difficult than we originally intended! I did add a little flexibility, in that you can actually be off by 50% (a 32nd note) on either side of a building and it’ll still score as a hit, unless there’s already a new note coming in, such as on the consecutive, one-finger 16th note runs. The way it’s set up, you should be able to play it on time with the song by ear with your eyes closed, as if you were playing a real instrument—assuming you could memorize all those notes!

It’s a bit of a button masher at the moment, haha.

1920x1080/22” for my good one, but quite likely to try some games on a 1600x900/14” or a 1440x720/6” as well.

I believe they all run a tad under 60 hz.

Ah, yes the half chocolate is so you can see what’s inside, briefly, and since the boxes are somewhat symmetrical, you can then assume what’s inside some others. For the “other player”‘s turn, you don’t get to see what’s inside. I should have added a “crunch” sound for clarity, haha.

I would get the occasional “blue screen” too, but only rarely, so I wasn’t able to reproduce it enough times to track it down (and my code is a mess, as I was playing with an an ECS (Concord) for the first time, and messed up the hierarchy)

You gotta take it easy on the jellies before him. By killing them slowly, you can “heal” your hearts above what you start with, until you have more hearts than the fox ;P

This was really fun to play! I could have kept going for hours.

The ball is really convincing, both visually and feel-wise. I really like it!

I have eaten ten thousand virtual chocolates, but I am still so hungry ...

Well? Did you join this?
