Did you work in a team?
Went in solo,
A 90% fun, 10% frustrating 100% learning experience
Was the resolution a challenge?
Main hurdle was expressing what the low res sprite was supposed to represent. Overcame it by using simple to express Elements, such as the penguin as the main character, simple to express because penguins are a very distinct animals, with not much detail compared to other ones. Also used lots of brick sprites, because brick like look.
What did you learn?
Mainly level design and even more importantly how to structure the project in a programmatic sense and how to finish a game

Wow super great graphics, love all the details, lights effects and still everything is 'readable' . Good sounds incorporated to the movement too.
Try replacing your cover image, it doesn't make justice to graphic's quality of your game! You will receive more plays for sure.
Very cool graphics, I can tell you put a lot of care into them. I wasn't a fan of the walking sound effect, but that's a minor complaint.
Thanks! For this game jam I just wanted to learn how to hook up sounds inside the game engine, and how to produce them. Hopefully my next game will have far superior sound design
Loved it! Looks and feels really polished for a two week jam game, the light effects really added a lot to the aesthetic. Got pretty challenging as well, I already died so many times in the tutorial level :)
Thanks For Trying It Out
Nice game!
Very nice! It looks great, but for me the controls were a bit frustrating. Maybe the lack of audio feedback when running/jumping had something to do with it. Also, pushing S to slide then W to jump is pretty nearly impossible :) Space worked for jumping and that was better.
Also, I thing checkpoints after each room would be helpful, as they are quite challenging.
Hmmm, alright, I Guess Ill Change The Tutorial To Say Space To Jump, but I figure that I will still need to add more audio feedback. Thanks for playing.
EDIT: Also - You Slide For Longer Than Just While You Press S - Most Jumps Can Be Made With That Extra Slide Time
Okay, I see you don't have to hold S. It is a challenging mechanic that I guess I am not used to. I am used to holding D or A and space, but not S :) No muscle memory for that!
Nice game and neat graphics!
Thanks Man, Still Looking to Add Some Polish, So if You Have Found Any Problems With The Game, Or Thinks Its Missing Something - Tell me So I Can Push An Update.
