Did you work in a team?
Mostly done by just me. My friends however helped me with sounds as I did not have speakers for my computer at all. I had a lot of fun this was the first time I ever did art for my own game ha. I believe I did pretty well.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Figuring out how my engine runs resolution was a pretty difficult task but the engines community was quick to help me with that.
What did you learn?
That I can do low resolution art semi-decently! That low resolution games can be super fun! And how to set resolution properly on my engine.

Nice game! I had fun fighting the enemies and trying to manage my health for the boss. It was hard to tell when you successfully blocked an attack but overall the gameplay was fun.
Thank you for the review!
A very cute game, but lacking a bit of polish. I liked the simplicity of the gameplay, and how the enemy didn't attack when I had my shield up (it meant I actually had to fight them). The experience was a bit lacking, though. An onscreen counter of how many enemies I had killed would have been good as I enjoy being able to beat previous scores. The biggest problem was probably the camera; it moving with the player is normally fine but the nature of low res makes it a little jerky, especially when attacking. It made it pretty difficult to tell if I was going to actually hit the enemy, as they moved pretty smoothly but I didn't. I liked how it was quite fast paced and required moving around, so maybe having the attack not move the player would be a good way to reduce that camera issue. Otherwise, nice idea and good job on the opening instructions too, concise and to the point!
Thank you for the feed back! After the jam ended I replayed the game and I am with you and many others that are talking about the being aligned with the player, especially with knock back as it would yank you around. I will learn for this next time I do the LOWREZJAM :)
