Did you work in a team?
Two team members. An artist/coder and a musician/coder.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Allowing the player to see enough of their environment was tough. We kept pushing the sprite size lower and lower to hopefully help. Eventually I think we found a good balance!
What did you learn?
We entered the jam to try our hand at a top down game, since we've made mostly side scrolling platformers in the past. We learned a lot about designing top down mechanics, and levels, and would love to continue expanding our skills in the future!

I love this game. Gives me a nostalgic feeling from my childhood playing legend of zelda<3 Thank you for this.
We had a lot of fun making it and we are happy to see others enjoying it. Thank you so much for playing!
OOO loved this one!
Thanks for checking it out!
very nice work!
Thank you!
This might be a top 20 game for me! It's worth developing into a full game; there's a lot of polish already.
I think the sprite sizes are great. My game had a lot of dialogue in it, so I've been paying special attention to fonts in these submissions; I thought your choice of font was very clear to read and stylish.
I liked the laid-back music, although I wish the footsteps were a little quieter.
We had a few more areas planned that we are working on now, but they didn't make it into the jam.
Thank you for the compliments! I will be mixing the sounds a bit more as we continue to develop it so I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for playing our game!
Nice game, the music (particularly the long slide) was a bit annoying but in general the atmosphere for the game was there. A lot of good mechanics solidly tested in zelda are there. Nice result overall.
I appreciate the feedback! I actually turned the volume up on that instrument at the last minute, perhaps a little too much. Thank you for playing our game!
This was great! I really liked the music: perfectly sets the mood and the sprite are is really cool.
Thank you for the compliments! We really enjoyed working on this project and we're happy to see others enjoying it.
Very good game ! At some point I was stuck because I forgot the character can jump ! Had lot of fun !
Thanks for playing our game! Yeah you don't really need to jump much before that point. I'm glad you had fun.
Me, at the opposite when I remembered for the jump, I tried to jump beyond the big whole!
Nice little adventure with good finish, I almost died against the Golem, epic.
We are glad that you enjoyed our game! We are still developing it too, and we hope to have more to show soon. Thanks for playing!
This is awesome. The balance between sprite size and resolution was perfect, the work really paid off. Sound effects and music were great too. I ran into a bug where orb got stuck on a platform that I couldn't reach, but thankfully you implemented checkpoints so I didn't lose too much progress.
Thanks for checking it out! I'm glad the checkpoints worked out for you, I was afraid I didn't add enough of them!
"Eventually I think we found a good balance!"
You did! Really well made and fun to explore. Very nice work!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
A great jam game! Lovely art and music and it was very fun to explore the world and solve the puzzles. Enjoyed it a lot and would have gladly continued playing after the end.
Thank you for playing our game! Check back later if you're interested, we're releasing a post jam update soon.
This was really nice! I loved the art and the music set a good atmosphere! The songs changing in the different areas was a nice touch too. Well done!
Thanks for checking it out!
