Did you work in a team?
This was a solo project, however SFX was provided by the good people on OpenGameArt.org, and the skeletal meshes where made by TellyFresh24 on TurboSquid.
Was the resolution a challenge?
The main hurdle was coming up with a game concept that worked with the low resolution. Anything that needed a UI with text would be essentially unreadable, so the concept had to be something intuitive.
What did you learn?
While making this game I played around a lot more with UE4's skeletal mesh and AI systems than I normally would have with my casual builds, and it turned out better than I had hoped!

Super awesome! The graphics look very nice and creates quite a spooky atmosphere.
This brought back memories of playing Quake for the first time. :) I really liked the music and the way the engine packed the 3D into the 64x64 space worked very well.
I'm glad the music was a plus! I wasn't sure if something from OGA would have suited it better, so I'm glad that turned out well. Unreal was also an absolute blessing for handling the rendering even at such a low resolution (other than some minor issues with loading lightmaps in prod, map loads are funky sometimes). All in all, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This was a satisfying shooter! Got a few jumpscares here and there, did not expect them to get so close to me... :P great work!
Thank you! The level design was a wee bit cheeky to help facilitate the surprise attacks, but its all in good fun of course. :P
