Did you work in a team?
I am solely to blame.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Not really, using TIC-80 and a clipping viewport made it a breeze. As others have said, fitting text in such a small space is a challenge but at least it makes you concentrate on the absolutely essential.
What did you learn?
Never entered the Low Rez Jam before so quite pleased it all worked out ok. I'm not particularly happy with the music/sound effects but that's down to my lack of familiarity with TIC-80, not a criticism of it.

Interesting story! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
The premise providing for graphics of different people, and then the mechanic making you focus on their design was my favorite part. I actually liked the music at first, but, yes, at some point the square waves did a number on my ears so thank you for the “S” :)
Oh my! This is quite original :D Nice (and gory) idea!
The game controls well, and I liked the concept ;P. That being said there where log periods where I would have to wait to find someone that would work with the recipe, and when the did show up I would only have enough power to cut down one. Maybe some tweaks to spawning or power to the blades would correct this. But all in all good game.
Excellent game, also bonus points for "Quentin Jalapeno". As others have said, the saw having limited power while also having to wait for the right people to show up is kind of a double whammy. Other than that, excellent game.
