Did you work in a team?
I worked in a team with 6 people. WarxTron did music, I did all the code and some of the art, Bbud did some of the art, Hydro man did most art, Omar and Piero did all sfx.

Was the resolution a challenge?
It wasn't that much of a challenge.

What did you learn?
I learned that longer time limits are really refreshing, and working in a team is a blessing and a curse.

Wow, this game seems HUGE! Very ambitious, especially for a jam. It has great graphics, sound, solid gameplay and some serious retro Zelda-like vibes. I will definitely revisit it post-jam to play with hold controls, but so far I've had a blast. Great job!

It'll have hold controls once the game ends :)

Absolutely beautiful game! That opening atmosphere is great, and I appreciate that there are slightly different controls between land and water.

Regarding the controls, though… for at least the first two or three minutes of me playing, I didn’t realize there were keyboard controls. I’m a WASD gamer by default and when those controls didn’t work for me, I tried the mouse… which I found to work (BTW, I really do find the mouse control mechanism to be very cool, even if it is rather slow). It was someone else that pointed out to me that I could use the arrow keys (part of me feel silly that I never tried the arrow keys, but, at the same time… like I said, I’m a WASD guy). Perhaps a sign or two to suggest which keyboard keys were available? Or, a section in the game description page just letting people know.

Still along the same lines regarding controls… when I was first navigating the water, I was pressing the arrow keys like I was on land. Again, it didn’t really occur to me that I could hold down the arrow key to swim, so I was doing a lot of these little slow pushes in the water.

My final issue that I came across was the dialog system. It’s awesome there’s a dialog system, but there’s no way (that I was able to find, anyway) that allowed me to control it. Some dialog seemed to take a little longer than it needed. Other dialogs went by much faster than I could read. Even if I could just press any key to progress the dialog at my own pace would have been great.

Beyond the above, this game has a lot to it! It looks and (once I knew the controls) played amazingly! Sound was wonderful! Love the little voice of the frog! Excellently made game!!

I am still playing but I wanted to drop a comment: I love this!  The scope is really impressive for a jam game.  I like the game itself, I can feel the design influences from roguelikes, zelda games, even demon's souls (that intro?).  Sound design and graphics are very nice.  5 stars all-round.

The presentation is great, I love the music and the art. The tone shift going from the dark intro area to the town was a surprise. I didn't play further due to key-spamming being a requirement to move around the bigger areas. That should be a simple fix though.

I added hold controls, it will be updated after the jam voting ends.
