Did you work in a team?
3, 2 programmers and 1 artist. Definitely a fun time, but wish I'd planned time out for it a little better. Always next year!

Was the resolution a challenge?
Being 3D it was hard to make everything clear enough to read at distances, did a lot of texel density tests early on to see what worked, and made the levels smaller than initially expected too.

What did you learn?
Spent a lot more time trying to understand how to hash out mechanics and balance them to be fun at the same time.

The narrative around the mechanics is pretty novel, and the music kicks ass. I did find gameplay a bit flat, and unfortunately the long tail on the rotational deceleration made me oversteer a lot which made navigation a bit frustrating. Overall great effort!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, good call out on the rotation.

cool idea with the rocket roses pushing away your planet, but the the overall gameplay falls a little bit short on difficulty. the movement was a bit laggy. I liked the graphics.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we had the difficulty way to high most the jam and think swung it to far the other way for the final, good feedback.

Good game. The music is good and doesn't get annoying even though it loops. I like the art style to, its bright and things are distinct so I can tell what things are even at the low resolution. I also really like how it controls, it's very fluid and easy to move around. There were a couple of FPS I played from this jam but this is my favorite.

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad to hear you liked it.

There are no enemies sadly

Developer

Sorry about that... Levels 1, 2 and 5 don't have enemies, but otherwise they should be spawning, either RNG was bad or there's a bug?

Lovely art, i dont know i never enconter enemies, i played 7 lvls.

Developer

Not sure why you didn't see any enemies... Levels 1, 2 and 5 don't have them, but otherwise they should be spawning, either RNG was bad or there's a bug?

Very good game, the concept is interesting and well-executed. I like how you made everything visually clear (my game is 3D as well, so I faced similar issues). I also like how you can always see the sun getting closer. Good job!

Thanks for the compliments! I'll have to check your game out too :)

The game plays really great, I could easily tell the depth which is usually hard to do in similar 3D games. Music was also really good. You guys did a great job!

Thanks for the kind words!
