Complex mechanics, did not grasp what I was expected to do… game acts funny after dying once. The idea sounds interesting but there’s some work to do for it to show through in the implementation.

Thanks!

Interesting idea, but a bit too buggy to form a real opinion.

Developer

Yeah, it is, sorry for  =|

Have you work on it since the jam entry?

Worked on this from August 9th to 11th.

I like to try games without reading the description first, but I am not a clever man—at first I thought that the "[color] -> [color]" at the top was telling me which color destroyed what. I did figure it out, but I had to keep scrolling back down to see the color associations.

I really like the spell changing on movement mechanic, makes movement itself a more strategic element than it otherwise might.

I did notice that things would sometimes spawn off-grid, which made some levels easier and some more difficult, and the text doesn't stick to a 64x64 resolution, but otherwise, nice entry!

Thanks!

I did it! ^^ I still wasn't sure how the colours worked though, did I need:
EnemyColour -> OppositeColour
or
OppositeColour -> EnemyColour
I ended up just waiting for Void on the left and ignored the right colour, and then use all my items whenever I had them. Very short, but great game! :)

Love these simple little sprites! It's a nice style!
