For me the camera smoothing is too extreme but without that the game would be a really cool one. Sounds are nice and maybe the chaotic style was planned.

Do you want to play mine?

Wow that’s a real nice little gem of a game. Music, graphic style, gameplay, length was all a good and well polished whole :) And with a great boss at the end, too :D

The gameplay has sometimes a few little rough edges like:

  • The camera look ahead being a little bit too slow to have a good preview of what’s ahead
  • Some of the collisions at the low ceilings are a bit unforgiving that you often just bump into them and fall down
  • The fan bit where you had to cross over several raising/falling platforms which opposite facing fans was quite brutal in its sudden difficulty
  • Just a bit before that there were some wide spike pits that I also couldn’t figure out how to cross safely - but maybe that’s just my lack of skill

Music does not get boring or annoying :)

Graphics are nice, readable and authentic except for two of the effects I felt (namely the message popup and the boss aura when the boss appears) show clear signs of being much higher resolution things that just have been downscaled….. - whereas the rest is rather traditional pixel-perfect simple graphic style….

I enjoyed it and spent a nice 15-20 minutes with it :) Good job!

Good job, friend.

Great game and colour palette. You also got a lot out of 64 pixels!

I like the graphics, and the game itself is challenging. It has a lot of mechanics, I'm pretty sure you guys worked hard for this!

Though the high pitch audio seems to be a bit loud for me, had to mute the whole time.

Overall, it's a really nice game. Reminds me of good old mario. good work!

Your art is really well done, I like the reduced palette. I made it to the boss but kept dying to the burger goombas.

This is really great! The music is super catchy, evokes all of the right vibes. Each level feels well crafted and challenging, and it all feels really cohesive, very cool game.

That was fun!

That one section with platforms moving up and down with the fans got the best of me though

Brutally hard platforming, and inertia is not helping! I broke down on fans )))

surprised by amount of game mechanics in such small game!

Cutest art and animation (flag popping from the ground—best in this jam so far).
