Absolutely beautiful art, and the wall jumping/sliding mechanic feels incredibly fun and satisfying to jump.
Also really love the music!
Great looking game so far. I thought the character animation was great and really enjoyed the sound as well. I hope you finish it when the Jam is over.
Visually this game is super great, and the boss is really cool too. Only thing is, whenever I press Z it doesn't shoot. Only N works.
The art is amazing. Its a shame you weren't able to finish.

Love the enemy design with this one, tons of character. I found the demon and the knight but then I got lost off-screen somehow and couldn't find my way back. I hope you keep working on this.
This is an interesting start for a game, I’d love to see it completed! The slime guy kept killing me :’( Also it’s funny that our main characters are similar, I think something about the low resolution makes the “mage” design a natural choice (or maybe it just looks cool :P)

Great platformer, I love the graphics and the music! I could not find out how to kill/capture the first boss and the checkpoint is a bit too far back IMO but gave it a few tries. However I found the B key for dashing but that wasn't helpful either :) (Also, F does something with aspect ratio? I could not get it back to the default.)
