probably one of the most impactful games i’ve ever played. makes you reflect and appreciate things in life a lot more. incredible atmosphere, characters, art, music. you will absolutely enjoy if you’ve played lsd dream emulator, yume nikki, hylics… basically any other amazing surreal game out there, this game should be alongside them. some people might not enjoy the RNG, but i think it was a very brave choice that contributes so much to the storytelling.

THIS IS SO COOL!!!!! awesome concept, so creative

thank you so much for playing :D you did reach the ending, i didn’t have time to make a cutscene and thought people would never reach that part XP maybe i will finish it and patch up some rough edges as well!!

Hmm, interesting! I love sustained reactions like this :D the white/grey part seems to be Strange Matter (the glitch element randomly switches to other elements) but I’m not sure what the red explosive part is

thanks for playing!!

thank you for playing and the feedback :) i took inspiration from yume nikki, so the exploration can be a bit frustrating and unguided; there is an ending though, just hard to reach. i do like the idea of a hint system though!! also, you can check my githib repo to see all my progress in the 2 jam weeks :)

something seems broken:( that should be a battle, not sure what happened! are you on Mac perhaps?

really fun, it was an interesting challenge choosing the order to mine ores in so you wouldn’t get stuck at the bottom (like i did :c)!! nice entry!!

is it weird that i think the player thing is cute? he looks like a piece of cheese (compliment) fun entry :)

theres just something satisfying about grinding and mining a bunch of ores :) i had fun, nice entry!!

the art and soundtrack are so awesome, but the controls are a little confusing unfortunately :( the objects and weapons were a bit unresponsive, so i had to run past most enemies; i still really enjoyed it though, especially the comic at the start :)

this entry is super fun, i got addicted to “optimizing” my runs and trying to find shortcuts :D the audio is also really polished, makes it really satisfying to drive around!

thank you :) yes haha that song was my favorite of the ones i made!! i called it “salad slaughter” which i think is pretty fitting

thank you!

thank you:)!!!

very charming sprites and sound effects :) i love seeing RPGS in this jam and yours did a great job at conveying information in 64x64!

i really like the ambiance and style you went for :) i was a little confused on how to get more tiles, but i kept playing just because its so peaceful and relaxing

omg… this is so cool!!!!! i’ve played lots of falling sand stuff so i immediately fell in love with this idea! also it has very polished sounds and visuals, works extremely well within the limitations :)

i really love the concept and your implementation :) very stressful (in a good way) and excellent sound design!!

i really like the setting and atmosphere you made :O i would definitely wanna see more about blood-bending wizards haha

simple and fun, i like it!! the bomb mechanic is cool as well, makes my head spin trying to multitask :)

sorry, I’m not sure why it does not work on that device! I think it may be hardware limitations if the phone is not powerful enough, but I can’t confirm

i might release this on mobile in the future, but without ads :)

i love both the sprites and the overall style, its really charming and consistent!! the learning mechanic was also a pleasant surprise that meshed well with the folklore theme. would love to see more if you finished this game!!

really love the creature designs, super cute and creative!! mothman is my favorite o.o

the graphics remind me of another game called vib ribbon! really cute, love how this game looks

I watched your cooking dev logs earlier in the year - super cool how far you’ve transformed this game and made it unique!!

Thank you!!

I might add fighting in the future! The reason the fish have horns was initially to ram into enemies, but it was hard to make it feel right. Hopefully I can implement it in a next version:) Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback!!

Oooo I really like this idea, maybe I will use it for the progression :) Thanks for playing!!

I planned on letting the predators attack each other to make it feel like a real ecosystem, but it started to get out of scope for the game jam, so maybe I will add that after the jam ends! Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)

:3 I always try to add as much “juice” as I can to my games! Thanks for the feedback, I will likely make an updated version :)

Thank you!!

I’m not sure how to play :( I can’t advance from the title screen. image.png

Wow, super fleshed out and well-made!! Making a fun RPG is hard, but making a fun one in only a week is even more impressive! I love the characters and story as well, made me a little sad when my shell friends died t^t My only suggestion is maybe make the text bigger, because it was a bit difficult to read at times. Amazing entry!!

I’m not sure why, but something about this game feels oddly comforting but also a bit creepy!! I felt like I was waiting for a jumpscare o.o love the presentation, nice entry!!

Thank you for playing :)!!

Thank you!! There is no ending, but I might add one after the jam period ends :)

I’ll try to look into this, thanks for reporting!
