This one was a bit rough around the edges. Though, you're on your way to a start in creepy game making. I was a bit frustrated at first not knowing how to play the game. But, I persevered and figured it out! Though, I'm still a little confused about it. :) Good job finishing a jam game and in Scratch, too! Very nifty!

Some improvements would be to fix the spawning at the beginning, and maybe having the game automatically get into a beginning state. Having textures for the ground graphics will also give the illusion that the player is moving, right now it's hard to tell you're moving in tree free areas. Footstep sound effects would be nice to give the illusion you're moving as well.

By far the best part of the game you did right was the chase sequence and having the enemy popping up. The music changing to something more intense when the enemy is near was pretty well done. Running from the enemy actually felt scary and I felt threatened and spooked out during those sequences.

This was a fun little cat/mouse chase game! The art was fun and fit your game nicely. Great work!

Very interesting concept!  Some sound would be nice if there was some texture or something to the background so you could see the movement.  it took a while to realize that i was actually moving.  the chase was fun.  i never could find an exit, but escaping the person was still fun.  it would also be nice if there as some sound, like footsteps or something, indicating how close the chaser was.

Great job! Good use of the engine, and the chase is scary
