It was a little hard to understand at first, but once I did I really enjoyed it. It's a nice level of challenging, it looks great, the music is great, and it feels good to control. The only thing I'd really suggest is maybe removing the forward button? Unless you specifically want to move backwards you're always gonna be pushing forward, so you're constantly holding down the key - might be better as an automatic thing.
Thanks for the suggestion! Originally it didn't have a backwards input, but I thought maybe people would want to move backwards if they were too far out to hit or ship or something, but it didn't occur to me to have auto forward. Definitely something could I quickly add after the jam., maybe a toggle or something in the options menu.
It got some getting used to and it's pretty hard but other then that it's a real fun game like space invaders but with a giant black hole trying to consume you.
