Yeah, the controls are very confusing with so many buttons. It also felt like in every menu there are new input conventions, it is definitely worth unifying (e.g. remove R button completely and only use e.g. J and K to select and cancel/go back).
I think simplifying the game by removing half of the moves and most of the modes would help to focus on the basics. Right now it feels a bit janky with so many half-done features (like the special powers on Space that are not even mentioned anywhere, or the game going gray for a couple of minutes after selecting "continue" after loosing in arcade mode).
The visuals are great, good job doing the movement shadow effects!
Can't see any mention of the composer. Well done handling Vocaloid, it is quite rare to hear them nowadays.
Attention gamers! If you cant get pass the character selection screen, press k to select fighter! Im sorry.
I cant get farther than the character selection screen :(
Press K
thanks :3

Visually the game looks great and really hones in on the magical girl concepts complete with a charming comic style opening.
First off I'm not particularly into fighting games, so take my views on gameplay with a grain of salt.
I won't say it was a bad, just feels a little stiff and is very hard to control on keyboard. Even starting a match took me some figuring out. But, once I finally got into the game and began to understand the controls I was starting to see the fun that could be had. In short, with proper keybind support and bit more work to improve the fluidity of character control this could make for a nice little charming fighting game.
Overall, nit-picking aside, I'd say it has both charm and potential and is worthy of congratulations for coming this for into the project within no longer than a month.
It looks nice but I can't play it somehow, whenever I press R. It just doesn't start.
Truly an exceptional work of art. I'm impressed.
A bird told me that there is a director's cut version incoming.... 😱😅
Magic girls and fight? Perfect combination
Well from the screenshots I guess I can tell that this is a legit submission, but If possible I'd like to request a more descriptive answer to the "How does your game fit the Magical Girl genre?" question; please describe their powers (or at least one of the character's powers).
Yes, for instance the main character Ritsu, is a fully fledged magical girl, with powers such as star shoot, levitate... And more characteristics of classical magical girls. Also the whole aesthetics of the game are inspired by diferent pieces of media that includes magical girls
