Which theme(s) do you pick?
Recollect Lines, PANDORA PARADOXXX
How does your game fit those theme(s)?
Recollect Lines - The main character collects fragments of the main villain's memories in the form of 4-line verses. In order to decipher the real memory, you need to defeat the monster and then another verse will open. PANDORA PARADOXXX - The main character opens a magic book like pandora's box with a key and becomes a magical girl. In exchange for strength, she must fight monsters to bring back her friend's memories.
Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
Most of it was created during the jam, for example: a monster, a model of the villainess, a model of the room and battlefield, effects, all the art except the avatar of the main character, almost all the code.

It's short, but this is really nice work! The art and music are all excellent. The story was pretty interesting so far too.
The gameplay is very ambitious! There's a lot going on, from picking up weapons to casting spells, controlling the camera, and learning about the story. The controls are a little clunky currently, and combat doesn't feel very satisfying in it's current state. The spells in particular... it was kind of hard to tell what was happening, but the enemy would just die.
Still, there's a ton of cool ideas and I think with some gameplay refinement this'll be a really great game. What you were able to complete during the jam is still very impressive, and I hope you'll continue working on it!
Thank you so much!💖✨
Good job finishing this little game, everyone!
The visual style and music are truly charming.
The gameplay seemed to be overscoped, as there are too many different pieces (dialogues, cutscenes, arena battles, player-controlled camera movement, multiple levels) to tackle. It takes a lot of courage to go for such a concept in a restricted timeframe of a game jam!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like our game! There were a lot of ideas, though, and a lot needs to be fixed, but it's very nice to hear your kind words and it gives us the strength to continue 💖🌷✨
Hey! I just finished the game.
I think it has really good ideas and I loved the visuals you poured in but some things need polish, especially the gameplay. I read in the game page that you already had some problems with the camera, so I won't enter there. But having to attack 100 times the first enemy (unless I haven't caught how to use magic or stronger attacks) felt frustrating... I also couldn't notice when is the enemy attacking at it seems like it's idling forever. Having one single attack also (I understand it takes time if you are doing your own animations) its time-expensive, however.
I believe it has potential but you should group and think carefully what will be more fun for the player :)
Cheers!
Thank you! I'm afraid this is a problem of hints that should have told you when to use a magic attack or particles. In the first battle, mana falls on the field in the form of glowing particle balls and when they are taken and 20 mana is accumulated, you can use a magic attack by pressing the button E. 20 mana is 2 mana balls. The balls fall out on a timer about 10 seconds after taking the weapon.
I will try to fix these problems, your feedback is very useful! 💖 I met these problems during development, but did not have time to fix them unfortunately
