Yeah we figured it would be less frustrating if it was about a high score and not just getting destroyed every single time. Apparently players like to suffer, so we'll probably add a lunatic mode with game overs when the jam is over.

Hey! I just finished the game. 

I think it has really good ideas and I loved the visuals you poured in but some things need polish, especially the gameplay. I read in the game page that you already had some problems with the camera, so I won't enter there. But having to attack 100 times the first enemy (unless I haven't caught how to use magic or stronger attacks) felt frustrating... I also couldn't notice when is the enemy attacking at it seems like it's idling forever. Having one single attack also (I understand it takes time if you are doing your own animations) its time-expensive, however.

I believe it has potential but you should group and think carefully what will be more fun for the player :)

The crayon-styled drawings and the tactical RPG gameplay surprised me in a good way :) 

Loved the aesthetics :) Maybe the gameplay was a bit hard for my noob arse, but is original and has a cool interpretation of the theme. If I can suggest something for a future build, I would have appreciated a button to fast restart the level every time I die, not going back to the menu to hit play again.

That's some really good feedback from one of the games I think will be on the top of the ladder😚!

Appreciate the feedback and I'm happy for it, we had ideas for more bosses but I think we worked hard enough to have one but as polished as possible.

When the jam's over we'll probably have another look at the things are most mentioned, like the hit box stuff :)

We plan to work on these bugs when the jam is over, had to deal with plenty of more urgent stuff like game crashing bugs or pooling for optimization.

When testing, I tried to use shooting patterns with a few bullets only, enough to dodge them all, but being frank and Touhou inspired, felt a bit empty. That's why I went for the "dodge as many as you can't, but not all of them" approach. 

Anyway, your feedback is noted, of course! Appreciate you sharing it and taking the time to play :D

PS: Extreme vegan remembers me so much to Scott Pilgrim vs The World. You should watch it if you haven't already.

Really enjoyed this project, has so much work behind it and it was very unique :) My only 'bad' feedback is that maybe there were too much dialogues.

But overall an amazing project for a jam, definitely going on the top in some categories. Cheers!

Thanks :) Yes indeed, I needed more time to work on the designs, but as a solo I spent most of the time working on the game mechanic. If I ever get back to this project ill first fix the flag I swear hahah cheers!

Definitely one of the top games here on Creativity and Aesthetics. Super well done, was super immersive and with great characters and dialogs. Tipping my fedora

That was a gem for me. You went all in with a story, a linear path, and original details such as the devils/sins following you but not killing you. Appreciate that you didn't bet everything into a single final jumpscare. 

Would be banished to the Shadow Realm again. 10/10

Wooow thank you so much for your words!! :) Yeah I think I should have given some kind of warning that the spooky boys were not feeling playful today.. hahaha Appreciate the review and the time you spent playing the game, I'm pretty happy about the mechanic I thought for this jam but I was afraid it could be frustrating if I made it very difficult, had to tweak a lot of stuff... Only if you could watch how fast moved the skeletons in the first tests.. Insert Cars meme of I am speed.

Weird, played all the way in the html and downloaded versions. Have you tried singing? All the levels revolve around that :) but let me check!

Loved it! Seems like someone really likes Undertale :) I liked that you merged plot with letting know the player it needs to finish 3 levels, its straightforward. Hope to see you in more jams!

I spawned out of bounds and can fly outside the map.. I think that was not supposed to happen, wasn't it? :(

Liked the concept, design and sound, all in for that! But it felt a bit hard to follow with the correct topics, maybe I didn't put enough attention to it. Also it feels kinda slow for what I was expecting in a jam project. But just my oppinion. Good job tho :)

Just finished it! I liked the color indicating if you are close to an enemy :) Would have appreciated some orientation like knowing if im on the good path or the objective but so far is a finished game done in little time. See you in more jams :)

Eyy thanks for playing my game decided to play yours! I liked the concept it was neat and well thought :) I'm sure you're aware but I think there is a type in the tutorial text with the jump button, says Z but you jump with W.
