I appreciate the long development window. It made things less stressful, and in my case, possible!

Solid fun romp. Not sure if combat was really necessary considering how insubstantial it was, but the meat of the game (the puzzles) were fun and well designed. I appreciate the fun tongue-in-cheek writing and the extra mile you went to put in so many interactable objects with different text in the houses.
Yeah, the battles definitely could be better. I’m glad you enjoyed the game, though! Thanks for the review!
This was a fun little RPG! I really liked the puzzle sections... if I'm being honest, I probably liked them better than the battles. Others have noted this, but the 9999 spell kind of makes the battles feel repetitive. The best fight was against the doll, who was far harder than the end boss! The story was simple, but the dialogue was fun. I enjoyed poking around the people's houses just to see their reactions to me rooting through their stuff.
Nice work!
Thanks for playing my game and leaving a review!
While the battle system is better than what was present in version 1.0, I agree that it could be even better still.
I had fun making the dialog once I got around to it, so I'm glad that shined through, too.
Thanks again, and good luck in the jam!
When I saw the thumbnail I thought: "Woah! Awesome!!"
But I was a little bit disappointed when I found out this is an RPG Maker Game... "I shouldn't judge a game based on its thumbnail" I thought
But I must say... I had fun. A short goofy little RPG Maker Game you have got here. Not too shabby. Not bad at all. Especially the puzzle part; although they were easy, I had some chuckle with the cats and dogs. Now I know that a game really shouldn't be judged too unfairly just because it's RPG Maker Game. XD
Thank you for participating!!
Yay, I'm glad you had fun! I'm also thrilled that I managed to overcome the "it's just an RPG Maker game" threshold, too! Thanks for giving me a chance to show everyone that RPG Maker games can be fun.
I enjoyed a lot the puzzle parts! Also, good thing there was the autosave because I was scared to get stuck in one if I "lost" one fairy.
One thing to note is the -9999hp spell . A bit more difficult in the battle or a more variation of spells is always a good thing!
I’m glad you enjoyed the puzzles! I spent most of my dev time on them and am quite proud of the results. There is a “Retry” function in the menu if you get stuck in a puzzle, but I realize nothing in the game mentioned that! Version 1.3 addresses this.
Yeah, the battles are pretty underdeveloped, as is the story. Perhaps I will improve them in the future.

This one was really shockingly good. I'll reticently admit that I wasn't expecting much from the screenshots. It looked like just another cookie-cutter RPG Maker game.
While it does seem to be mostly stock assets with some third-party ones mixed in, they're used very well. The game looks good and has a very polished feel to it. I think some custom scripts were used (I'm not familiar with MZ) and they were nicely integrated such that I couldn't tell where one started and the other ended.
There was also plenty of interactivity in the environments, which I always appreciate.
I hadn't been expecting the puzzles and they were definitely a pleasant surprise. It gave the game an extra dimension that made it stand out from a lot of others. I enjoyed the battles but I think they could get dull if the game was longer- most of the time it was just waiting until I could use the finishing move. Difficulty seemed a bit on the easy side overall, which I prefer personally, but it might not be to everyone's taste.
I liked the story but I feel it needed a better introduction. Names are thrown at me and I feel like they're supposed to be significant but I've just heard of these people. I wasn't even sure if Priscilla was already a magical girl at the beginning. I also felt the fact that Priscilla just ended up in a new and very strange land wasn't emphasized enough by her actions and reactions.
I do like the (minor spoilers) sequel hook at the end; do you have any plans to continue or develop a sequel?
Note: I played version 1.2 of the game.
Wow, I’m honored to have made a shockingly good game! 😃 The only difference between version 1.2 & 1.3 is that I make an effort to make players aware of the existence of the “retry” button, so your evaluation is still valid. During development, my main focus was on making the puzzles, so I’m glad those were a hit; I just threw together the story and battle system, and would develop them more if there had been more time.
A sequel is a definite possibility, especially if I get into another jam that calls for using the default assets. I may even make a full-length game later.
Thanks for playing my game and the detailed review!
I think if you do a 1.4 or 2.0 the focus should be on cleaning up some of the story/narrative issues. The battles are a bit cheap but they work well enough for the length of the game, while the weak introduction could become an issue for the sequel. Of course you could always push an update later that alters things a bit like the update Valve pushed for Portal just before Portal 2.
