Hey, kudos as below on doing a text adventure (first of the jam I have played!) and for doing it in C as well. Loving the result file size. Pretty good start to a text adventure game, but there are def some bugs as already stated, and sudden closing of the game if you make a choice twice I guess. If you are very interested in text adventure style games, you should look into Twine and YarnSpinner.

It's a bit buggy spaces don't work right and any entered text will advance even if it's not a valid option. Since I used a space in one of the options the first time I played I never even got to chose some of the choices and didn't realize till several attempts later.  It looks like it closes/crashes when you either run out of money or fail to do something too many times :(.

Other than that I think your on the right track but adding some randomness to the options or changing what options you can do at certain times could make things more interesting.

I originally wanted to do things like random events like in Paradox Interactive games, but other things in the program took to long so yeah. The typical game jam stuff

Mad respect for making a game in C!

Really enjoyed this!

Sadly it crashed for me while I was trying to raise my army up by repeatedly investing in it.

Developer

it sometimes does that because you mostlikely already raised it or something like that
