cute try!!
Baby leopard is cute, well done for run anim. for jump anim, you may tilt the upper body upwards just like you did tilt downwards when falling for better effect.
I had planned on that, but wanted to keep it simple for time sake. The jump and fall animations are copies of parts of the run animation.
Nice job! I really like the art and music, especially the run animation.

Well, one thing's for sure. The coins belong to jaguar! 😂
So my experience, I had no idea that jaguar can double jump, so I thought that stepping on the enemies was the way to reach high platforms, but sometimes I lose some health that way...
The aliens were nice enough to give some ❤ back haha.
Anyway, definitely enjoyed the dash mechanic! Make it so that it could kill the aliens as well, or maybe it already does? I'm not sure if I was colliding at them right.
Lastly, at the boss stage (the skull spaceship dudes) it just went off and left me there after being stepped on. After looking for some info about the game, I stumbled upon your postmortem. You mentioned using rigidbodies? Did you mean it was on the enemies?
The problem I had is with the rigid body on the eyeball enemy. I's not supposed to jump super high. That's why I piled up the blocks. Quick dirty fix.
The skull guy is purely animator based. He flies up and then swoops down to attack.

Nice work! Agree with simontheliquid, for a big cat could do with a 'heavier' feel. I like the alien design with the eye.
I worked with the gravity and fixed it to where when the jump button is released or the cat gets to the peak of it's jump, the gravity increases. Thanks for the suggestion.
The game overall is entertaining. Only thing i could complain is that the movement is a bit floaty, it might better to make the gravity greater. ^_^

Awesome game! really enjoyed it, impressed you got soo much done haha the first boss fight was really fun and the dash mechanic felt really nice. I have a 3year old and a 5month old so i understand how hard it can be to get something like this out. Great Job!
