This was so fun to play through!! The art is so good and I adore how lively the characters feel! Also, I love the monster designs so much, Sickgu was adorable!

I love the story of your game! My favorite part is definitely how much you delve into creating a personality for your characters, even the side characters that aren’t nearly as important.

This is something I struggle with a lot in my games, I've got a lot to learn from you!

Breaking news, demon lady with giant booba assaults four freshmen students on their first day of school. Bystander claims the demon duo are merely "annoying", not dangerous.

Ok, on a more serious note, I especially like the hand-drawn art of the enemies. The music choice is also good. The RPG gameplay is also quite solid and satisfying (can't go wrong with RPGmaker).

One complaint I have: the "selected" and "not selected" cursor could use a bit more contrast, I can hardly see what I am selecting. The skills between the four students could be more unique and serve a more distinct role (healer, tank, DPS, etc), as I find myself spamming Catapult and Shock for all 4 turns.

But all in all, a good and wacky RPG game.

2. Different styles of hand drawing/custom assets mixed with "regular" asset graphics is just genius art

3. Flawlessly running

5. The game pace is just great

6. Guaranteed to laugh at least every 5 minutes of play

7. You can walk under magic grass and rock in a magic campus and don't get cursed

8. Monsters/demons are varied and very cool (golden impgu CX)

Amusing story, as always! As for the game mechanics, well, I'm a sucker for this game engine xd Definitely want to see more of it, and more of that cool artwork of yours!

How about I point something out?

  1. Didn't get the softlock with Faustus, but the Sickgu did haunt me. Does this mean, it's intended for the Sickgu to attack me every time I enter a certain area? If so, you may want to add some conversation, that would show the main characters acknowledging it.
  2. Don't forget to fix these tilemap issues, like passable walls in Nagshead!
  3. Also, keep that in game journal updated, so that it shows the current objective.
