Good Game! :)
Great music - but at least on my PC the arrow keys did not hit the boxes in time with the music so I found it very hard to get into the rhythm. I wasn't sure if I should be timing them with when they hit the box or when they hit the beat but I couldn't get my score very high. Love the dancing !

Im not seeing how this fits the theme of the jam as the mechanics don’t actually make the character dance directly. So with that in mind its basically just like Dance Dance Revolution. This also comes with some problems, because with dance dance at least the button presses tend to be in sync with the music. Here that isnt the case. Which arguably makes it unconventional but I’m not sure that was the intention. I think what you have overall is a well made package for such a short jam period. I’m pretty impressed that you managed to make the dance animations within the jam period as they are very fluid and look motion captured. A little rough around the edges, but definitely well made.
Edit: Also for exposure, I highly reccomend adding some screenshots to your itch page. I don’t think the cover art is really selling the game well. More people should play this

Wow. This is pretty unconventional, you fit the theme really well. I had a lot of fun playing this, its fairly challenging, but I got the hang of it after around 10 mins, and got my first win.
The triggers are a little hard to hit as you have to time it slightly early, and they arnt very forgiving. You nailed the gameplay though, I was very plesently surprised with how fun it actually is. You have a really good gameplay loop, I'd like to see/play more levels (and songs) with this gameplay.
5/5 for sound for sure, I was jamming out to the music. 5/5 for fun as well. I could see this being a finalist.
