How does your game fit the theme "Unconventional Means"?
It fits because it is unconventional to fry and serve the customers in a restaurant to the other customers, haven't seen it irl or in any other cooking game.

Loved the doodle graphics of this game, and the idea was very original too. Though I was very overwhelmed from the beginning with how much I had to do. Maybe this game would have been more accessible with a smaller scope i.e. just the planting or just the chopping up.
Thanks :)
You’re probably right about about the smaller scope. I wanted to add depth to the game, but ended up just confusing all players with it.
Getting rid of the weird planting system and all dishes related to them would, as you say solve a lot and I might just make a version of the game like that, thanks to this comment.
In any case I will remember this for next gamejam. Thanks Ollie, for playing my game :)
Free rating !!
Love it, could use some particles and audio when serving/turning people into food for a bit of feedback about what is going on, but I really enjoyed it.
Thanks for playing :)
Totally agree, particles and sfx would be nice
great game! Fits the theme perfectly and is really creative! Takes a bit of strategy for sure. Couldn't really tell if it was a bug or part of the game (since some people would request two items), but sometimes I would pick up two items at a time and then couldn't separate them. Just was a bit confusing, especially in the beginning when no one is ordering two items. Great work!
I'd appreciate if you could play/rate my game as well! :)
Thanks for playing :)
Totally get that it was confusing, but I have no idea how separating items could work without making menus and stuff for it
Will make sure to play your game :)
Thanks for playing :)
Feeding one person then chopping them up to feed someone out is so much fun to plan out! Although at times I found it difficult to remember who was wanting food, so having a UI showing what people want would be helpful.
Thanks for playing! I'm happy that you at least figured out how to play the game, most of the friends that I made play it didn't understand how to feed people to chop them up :( . Anyways, I'll make sure to rate your game! :D
This game is really unconventional
