A fruit powered VR controlled combat mech battling time itself ?

Well i guess you definitively nailed the surrealism on this one that's for sure :p !

So, silly jokes aside it's a fun game. I like the cartooney/wobly lines style you went for, really adds life to the various sprites.

Plus i really enjoyed the fact that even if there's a tutorial you can also easily jump right in and figure things out on your own and still manage to have a run that lasts for a while.

If i had to nitpick, i'd say i just felt like the enthropy events were a little bit unclear, as the icon that pops up with the explaination doesn't stay on for long, and i only got a different style of ennemy once after an event (the enthropy worm) but at other times i was just having either the melting clocks or the doomclock again.

Regardless cool game, well done :)

I'm a sucker for card games, and this autobattler has a great level of personality to boot. I found the card elements to be a little unimpressive, but I know it could easily take longer than the jam to create and balance more interesting effects. I skipped the tutorial and didn't have any trouble, though I never quite figured out how the card refreshing works and just used whatever seemed best. I also found what some entropy creatures were doing to be a little vague or confusing.

Very impressive, good job!

This was fantastic.

Going into this I thought this was just going to be a silly joke of a game, but this was genuinely a lot of fun! Maybe even my favorite game thus far! The game play loop was a lot of fun and I had a blast strategizing in it. The goofy artstyle has a lot of charm to it, and I found a lot of touches very endearing. It's such a wacky concept for a game, but it works super well! I'd love to see more time be put into this and have it expanded with original music andmore enemy variety if you're ever willing. The only things I could dock you on is that the entropy effects don't appear to be explained anywhere so I'm still not sure how they work and that the foreground effects obstruct cards 4 & 5 in fullscreen mode. Very tiny stuff.

Fantastic work! You should be proud of this one.

Edit: Current high score is 20, will probably try going for another run later!

Thank you so so much for the extensive feedback, and the high praise to boot! Sadly I had to cut dev time a bit short due to other obligations, so I totally agree on the few visual things I missed the mark on, but the game seems to hold up well in other areas :3

I'll polish / expand this game later if I feel like it, but right now it has achieved its goal of being a solid-enough game jam entry, so we'll see how this goes. But it is amazing to just hear that you're interested in seeing this game expanded hehe, makes me happy ^^

Now off to reciprocating the favor by reviewing your game lmao

I never thought that fruits and robots can go hand in hand and be awesome, great job!

The combat is also really fun, I love how you can have multiple actions per turn and how it last for several turns as well, so the fruit choices actually have consequences, adding extra layer to strategize

Awesome to hear that you dig the big brain strategies of fruits and robots

I Have no idea how a game about dragging fruit onto a wacky robot is fun, well done.

Hehe glad to hear you liked it :D

Interesting panable menu! Awesome style & lovely tutorial writing. A bit hard to read the effect numbers in game with lack of contrast though.

Cool game design, locking yourself into moves on later turns too by placing fruits.

A fast forward mode would be great, especially since some turns I am just waiting for better fruits to arrive. Also getting your hand clogged up with only healing fruits isn't very fun - especially when you're at full health already lol

Really fantastic work!
