A little late, but for those of you still checking things out:
Q - "super shot" for your team. Much more damage for 15 seconds
W - spawn a super mini-mech
E - Shield for you main mech
R - Repair a portion of your health (red bar)
T - select a new skill
A (lightning bolt skill) - Super skill that...??? :)
Red Bar - main mech health
Blue Bar - Allied Base health
Earn new skills after destroying 5, 15, 30, and 65 opposing units.
Great entry! I had some bugs, one mostly where it zoomed out and I had to restart the level. I was able to rush the base at the start but eventually the bug hit. Graphics and effects as well as sound are all awesome. Really good game well done!
Thanks! There are definitely some "features" that we didn't intend :) We'll get them polished up as we learn more about Unity and the related assets.
Was fun, somehow couldn't find out how to repair. The red boxes when kill look a bit wierd, black would fit better IMHO. Very beautiful game.
Repair probably give too little. I think we only coded it to +25 or so, definitely not very noticeable.
I'm not a MOBA player so not sure what feedback I could give other than things I encountered. For example whenever I got to the enemy base the hero mech would start to ascend for some reason. Nice job though.
It's better to add instructions how to play somewhere (on the game page for example). Because nothing helps to win, even jumping
Will definitely have that for MechJam V. I added a comment with some pointers. Thanks for checking out the game!
I did try to play your game but without instruction I don't understand how to shoot. The graphics are good and look really interesting.
Yeah, instructions would probably help! All of the Mechs, including the Player Mech, use auto targeting and shooting AI. Your Player Mech will auto target / fire at the nearest enemy mech. The more enemies you kill, the more additional skills you can select from the bottom button bar. The challenge is using your skills to over power the enemies and there is no shame in a strategic retreat!
