I really liked this game. I hope you add walking and some inbetween areas from the combat like maybe where you can walk around loot and then get into combat like levels. I think I had a bug where I couldn't see the health bar for the player. I think the stat box shouldn't appear on top of player but above its head cuz i want to see the character and it was interfering with clicking onto the enemy made it where you had a click a small part around head to get it to work. Visually this looks amazing and the mechanics I like. I didn't realize at first that you had to press other keys when attack so maybe a small introduction to that mechanic would be nice. I don't think you have to put words of the enemy attack cuz you can see the enemy attack and the numbers and effects happening, or if you did want to keep that I would say move it up to the top right corner out the way visually. Outstanding job though you should really work on this and make it into a fully fledge game.
Nice! I did encounter one major bug where whenever an "Angel" appeared there was no way to attack or do anything other than heal myself. The first time I played it was the first enemy and I thought the game was totally broken, it wasnt until I restarted the game and got a new enemy first I was able to actually play... Or well at least until the next angel appeared.
I like the unique twist on turn based combat. Altho I think the game is a bit too easy as even when I missed the QTE I still often did enough to kill the enemy anyway and so it felt almost like it didnt matter if I did the QTE or not. I imagine that can probably be easily fixed however. And I think the mechanic is worth expanding on to make it even more rewarding to the player if you plan on continuing work on the game later.
Overall a good game! I could see this becoming a successful mobile game or something with just a bit more expanding on the core foundations that are already there.
