Nice work! This looks like a lot of fun. I especially like the table at the bottom for adventurer motivations - not that any of those situations have ever happened in a game I've run, of course... haha... ha... ok, maybe a few of them...

One suggestion: the current version isn't clear on what happens on a result of 6-9. Which realistically will be most rolls. I assume this is intended as a partial success/success with consequences?

But otherwise, great job and great take on the theme.

Great job! I had some thoughts while reading:

  • Great intro! It sets the tone very well. I like the characters you set up.
  • A bit confused how the rotating GM scoring works.
  • All the tables are pretty nice!

All in all, nice. I think what I would suggest is simplifying things. I think it might streamline your rules a bit.

I really enjoyed reading this, and have added it to my pile of "games I hope I can play in the near future"! Everything is very clear, concise and structured. The only thing I might have added is a table for race/class->adventurers so players can quickly roll up a party if their imagination deserts them, but then I'm always adding unnecessary things!
