Every single effect in this game is reverse-able, and you are not in danger from this game.

Thanks for playing! Also, I had forgotten that the version you played was the original, so consider yourself a Beta Tester!
I think the new version is a lot clearer than that, both in terms of game mechanics, bug fixes, and puzzle understanding elements!
Also, sorry for the background. I still don't know how to change it. I just saw a command someone else made, and modified it to fit into my game. I think your old background is saved though (this is the case in my computer).

It kept crashing for me on launch, which was disappointing because I really wanted to play it! It sounds like a super meta game!

Great game, very meta. A few problems: The answers were not given for colouring the numbers, I had to look that up, and the program failed to exit (maybe that was just my meddling). Still, absolutely fantastic game!

Gah, it was cool until it crashed in the void section and now my desktop is looking quite weird with translucent icons. Ie run at your own risk! (well ok they were just hidden. but anyway, very interesting meta stuff which was more interesting than fun)

Very cool, incredibly meta game. I didn't even know you were able to do half of the things this game did to my computer.

I loved the mouse cursor platformer section, low key blew my mind.

I did get stuck on the screen dragging section and ended up losing the game screen somewhere outside of my window and couldn't use any of the standard windows techniques to get it back so I had to start again.

Also I go stuck for a while when your screen goes entirely black and from pressing random buttons I ended up pressing f3 which appears to be a legacy debug mode still in the game which ended up crashing it and I was stuck without a background or task bar until I could get back to that section and beat it. Any issues had their annoyance magnified due to the temporary damage the game caused to my system.

I would have preferred a clearer ending, I had to check the walkthrough on your channel to check if I was actually done.

All in all an incredible experience, very mind blowing and a lot of fun.

Also thanks for reporting these (bugs/glitches/overlooked points)! I'll get them fixed as soon as possible, and there will be an update in the next couple days (hopefully today)!
My end goal is to remove almost every bug this game has to offer, because even the slightest one can cause some short-term problems with your device.
I'll remove the debug thing, make the first ending clearer, add a button that resets the game's window position to the middle of the screen (the button will be clear), and try to add a visual representation of the sound room!
I'll also try to prevent your desktop files from being scattered all around. If I can't fix it in the next couple of days, just turn on the invisible files visibility, and that is a guarantee fix, but not as impressive from the game's perspective!

Overall, very very cool game. I had a blast with this. Except, I was flying blind in the first part because my background was covered by another window. Very stressful. 10/10

With all these meta games, I'm not sure anymore if an error is truly an error or not. x) But I think this one is unfortunately: at the start of the game, it only shows the message:

ERROR in
action number 1
of Create Event
for object game_manager:

File is not opened for reading.

The game looked quite ambitious though!

Yes, this is an actual error. Thank for bringing it to my attention! I just added a small debug log that will appear as a .txt in the same folder as the game, so this would help me figure out what's going wrong.

Great metagame ! I've not finished it for now, but I've enjoyed all I've played here. I've probably done something wrong (I've made jump the arrow outside the game's frame, so the game's window becomes useless ^^"), so I think I'll have to start the game from scratch ^^ Not easy to understand what to do sometimes, but I really liked the concept ^_^

You can move the game window now, or drag the actual window without the frame! Just check around your screen, maybe something's hiding beyond the four walls of the game!
Also thanks for the feedback! And, how did you close the game in the first place? Did you restart your computer of through the task manager? Because those are the only two ways I can think of to force the game to close...
