A ton of great animation in this one! I think I got all the weapons and got to the end, but not 100% sure. Either way, it was a good time~
You have a pretty decent base for a platformer here. Maybe a bit linear for a metroidvania but it has almost a Jill of the Jungle esque map going on and there are ideas you could use to make something more open-ended and I appreciated the effort towards making different area types stand out. At the same time, there's room for improvement on programming--jumps are a bit janky here and there and in one area one can even be practically thrown into an enemy. This could be a basis for something cool with a bit more TLC.
Cozy game, it didn't seem to have an ending but I did get all the weapons. The graphics were otherwise very nice but the character's animations were inadequate and the upgrades were just colored boxes. Some background music would have also made the mood totally different! The controls and mechanics worked well and I had no problem with them other than that you had to be careful how to build with the blocks.
I was hardlocked two times - once I fell trough spikes to the void and once I messed around with the blocks and got stuck. There should at least be a suicide button to get out of that situation.
the game platform mechanics were good, little SFX would have been great,
all enemy had some kind of death animation that was great!
I really liked falling down and discovering new place.
Suggestion: Player Idle animation was too fast, if compared to run animation
fun game like the ability to use different weapons, was there any audio in the game ?
great job !
Nice platformer here. I enjoyed the different mechanics and the integration with the levels. I found the jump a little awkward. Adding a "short" jump with a light button press would be helpful. Also, there were a lot of blind jumps with spikes underneath. With the one-hit kill this felt kind of punishing. That said, I still played all the way through it. Nice work.
Very fun platformer! I liked the block mechanics, that minecraft feel:) I managed to collect all four weapons but didn't understood what to do next, so I don't know if the game has ending.
Yeah that was the end of the game, we forgot to add an end screen. Glad you enjoyed it!
Game's looking good! I got stuck after gaining the block ability, as I imprisoned myself in the basement with it and had no idea how to reset my situation. I suggest that you put a limit of 3, or 5, or something, and every time you create a new one past that, the oldest one you've created disappears. Could even use that in extra puzzle designs.
Thanks for playing! Agree on the issues with the block. We had a similar idea, but ran out of time to implement.
